About this property

Private retreat in a residence near the beach.

The property is actually a two story triplex. This unit is on the back side of the building and looks out to the pool in the back yard. There are fruit trees on the property. If you are there when the fruit is ripe you may get mangos, bananas, coconuts or plantains directly from the tree.

If you are interested in renting please let us know and we would love to show you the property. In the winter we live on the second floor and there is also a third unit which is a 1 bedroom on the front of the triplex.

The unit has refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, stove/oven, drinking water, utensils, cookware, wireless internet, air conditioning, ceiling fans, Shaw satellite TV. Probably everything you need except food.

The apartment is about 1100 square feet not including the patios off the bedroom. The master bedroom has 1 King bed and opens out towards the pool. Master bathroom has a two sink vanity, shower, toilet and large closet.

The living room is spacious with a 48" LCD television. There is a queen Murphy bed in the living room, additionally there are two chairs in the living room each of which make out into a single bed that is not quite twin size. Great for kids but a bit tight for adults.

On the grounds are a Pool, BBQ grill and patios which are shared among the three units. Both of the one bedroom units are listed on VRBO. The smaller one bedroom unit on the first floor is VRBO property #732568
An LCD TV comes with satellite channels, and guests can stay connected with free WiFi. Other standard amenities include a private pool, a kitchen, and a washing machine. Housekeeping is available on request.

Best of two worlds

This is the life of Mexico. Close to everything, a house and a magnificent pool, fruit trees, manicured lawn and walking distance to the best restaurants, or taco stands. Relax under the shade of go to the beach. Then return to a garden of tranquility for a siesta .

We were very impressed with the accommodations,location,and especially our host Russell. Close to the beach, restaurants, and shopping. We found Uber was the best way to get around although I enjoyed biking also. The area is safe And the people friendly will definitely be making plans for a return trip

Had a great two week stay at this property. Russell was a great host. He was available when needed but privacy was also important. The property is located in a great quiet safe neighborhood. Lots of restaurants close by and the beach is about a 5 min walk.

Great location, Great pool, Great Beach

We stayed at Ingrid's place for a few days in March and it was wonderful. The owners are on-site and very helpful with local knowledge and made sure we were comfortable in our unit. The apartment is on the ground floor of the triplex and looks out to the beautiful pool and palapa. With only one other apartment for rent the place is very private and we had the pool to ourselves the entire time. You can go out the back gate and walk 5 minutes on the sidewalk and be at the beach. The beach is very nice, clean and sandy with a gentle slope. There is an Oxxo and some restaurants about 5 minutes walk the other direction when you go out the back gate. There were several other nice restaurants within a 20 to 30 minute walk and we found that using Uber was very affordable when we didn't want to walk. We had a great time and will be back for a longer stay next time.

Good Experience - Great Location

We spent 8 days at the casa, despite minor issues (greeting & housekeeping), we had a great time. The 2 bedroom unit was very spacious, loved the balconies around the house. We spent many days in the backyard, using the pool (be warned that the water is very cold in January), lounging, resting and chatting with the other renters. We walked the beach every day, we didn’t spend any days there as it can be very crowded and we had to pay to sit on plastic chairs under a palapa (no lounge chairs). It would have been nice to have chairs/beach umbrella available to us – I would have paid extra to get that service. It's a great location, we got around by walking, bus and the trolley a lot to get around. The back of the house is on a boulevard, it can be noisy at time but that’s the best access for the restaurants, beach, convenience store...it didn’t really bother us. We felt safe in that neighborhood The owners were quick to respond to issues and questions we had. Overall, a good experience and would rent this house again.

Great location 5 minute walk to beach in a residential neighbourhood. Loved the spaciousness. Rental car recommended to get around. But it is a work in progress. Still some utility issues to solve.

Perfect!!!

Our experience with renting this property was amazing from start to finish! The owner was very friendly, quick to respond and the pricing was exactly as indicated on the listing. Upon arrival to the house, it was more than we expected!! Spacious, beautiful, and extremely comfortable. Everything you could want or need is there from a well appointed kitchen to outdoor seating to beach towels! The location is great, only a few minutes walk to the beach in one direction and a few minutes walk to catch a taxi or stop at the corner store in the other direction. Overall, a wonderful and positive experience and we would absolutely rent this house again!
