The staff here is so friendly. I actually am going to miss them. The guys in the bar area are some of the nicest people on the planet! This place is just a couple minute walk from everywhere. Right next to the soccer field and a block and a half from the beach.

This property is really lovely, it’s in a questionable area of town but once inside you can appreciate the beautiful rooms, the pool area and the decor. Lots of tropical plants and the staff were wonderful. There is a soccer field right across the street and nights were very noisy til quite late. The bar and food at poolside was a plus. I stayed with many family members and we had 10 grandchildren enjoying the pool at times. It was down season so they had the pool almost exclusively to themselves and had such a fun time here. Quick walk to the beach and they have golf carts to rent to explore the town. I had a two room suite with kitchen, bathroom and a little terrace right next to the pool. Comfortable and clean.

Alan was great and friendly as well as the other stuff. There’s AC in the room which is nice considering the hot weather. Check in was nice and easy. Breakfast (which you have to buy separately) it’s good but options are limited, something to keep in mind if looking for a wide variety. Rooms are not sound proof and we stayed in the first floor with access to the pool but you can literally hear people talking.

We stayed as a family of five at Casa Lotería in August of 2025. It was WONDERFUL for us! We ate breakfast everyday at the cozy restaurant by the pool, then chips and guac for lunch. Alan and Jonathan ended up feeling like family. Our boys, ages 15, 14, and 9, were in the pool a good amount of time (as were we). The staff was incredible. There is parking on-site. Rooms were clean, cozy, w nice, cold AC. We would recommend this little hotel to couples, singles, families. We are a bit homesick for Casa Lotería in Sayulita, and we WILL be back.

Un excelente lugar para descansar y pasar unos días, el hotel es pequeño pero agradable, nos encantó que el cuarto tuviera dos pisos con dos cuartos, dos baños y además cocina, comedor, sala y balcón. El personal siempre muy amable y atento en todo momento. La alberca siempre tranquila y la limpiaban diario por las mañanas. El servicio de desayunos muy bien y rico, quizá le falta algo más de variedad pero la verdad siempre desayunamos bien. El horario de comidas me pareció un poco corto (hasta las 4:00 pm), tenía un mini bar cerca de la alberca, pero me parece que también tenía el mismo horario.

The property was acceptable. Room cleanliness was fine. When we were there, what seemed to be a large extended family arrived on a bus. There was constant yelling, smoking, drinking, and some vomit. I'm glad they enjoyed themselves, but I wasn't making use of the pool with all of that going on. If I had been in the mood, maybe I could have crashed their party and had a good time. I've never heard so much whooping in a pool.

My room was broken into on my second week with my wife after being out at night for a few hours. They stole a baseball hat, my cologne and all the pesos my wife had in her purse. Conveniently the manager did not share the video footage with us after he reviewed it personally. We were forced to call the police, and were offered no assistance or compensation from the staff. The maid we were assigned doesn’t clean unless asked is dressed like a lady and acts sketchy when approached. The wifi is poor quality, next door is under construction so it’s very noisy early in the morning. You can hear kids crying and screaming throughout the stay. Expedia charged me for breakfast and all I was offered for this cost was coffee. There are many nicer places than this, I would not recommend this spot to anyone you care about. Very badly in need of renovations as well, seedy business. Stay somewhere else better options throughout the beautiful little town

This was a great place for my family holiday. We had 3 rooms altogether and the hotel was accommodating with having rooms next to each other. My kids LOVED the pool and we spent more of our time there than at the beach (which was a five minute walk). The place was really clean and the restaurant was good, though only open for breakfast and lunch. The hotel is near lots of restaurants and pharmacies etc. I really enjoyed going up to the roof to do yoga with the friendliest and multilingual instructor. I would definitely recommend Casa Lotería to friends and family and I’d stay there again in the future for sure.

Not a great experience

Were do i start, the pool was very dirty and not well maintained. Check in starts at 3pm arrived like at 3:30pm and went in the pool around 5pm. The pool was very dirty when i offered to clean myself with tools, was told maintainence was closed and there was nobody to clean or hand me a tool. By the way the pool closes at 9pm and maintainence is gone by 4. The jacuzzi was not functioning. When i asked if its not working or its off, they said its off and dont know how to turn on. Supposedly only maintainence knows how to turn on and they were gone. They should then close the pool at 4 when maintainence leaves, since apparently no one in the hotel knows how to turn on a jacuzzi. In the morning they only offer free coffee, which by the way you have to drink it black, because there is no milk or creamer. I booked 3 rooms for 12 people, and was charged 200 pesos extra because i had an extra 3 year old in my party. Were apparently there was enought room for my toddler to sleep in my king size bed, which they assign king beds for only 2 people. The service is mid, but theyre too many rules and the service is not up to par.
