The Hotel was located in a great spot. Walkable to beach and the down town Sayulita. Covered garage parking that locks down at 10pm. If you come back from driving after 10pm they will open the garage for you. This is a very rare find in Sayulita. The staff was very friendly.
The hot water is solar. During my 4 night stay I never even had a warm shower. I had a room temperature shower. I brought this issue up to the front desk, maintenance and management. Solar only! The HOTELS.COM description does not mention this.

Our stay at Casa Lotería in Sayulita was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we were completely captivated by the beauty of the hotel. Every detail feels thoughtfully designed — colorful, vibrant, and full of charm — perfectly capturing the spirit of Sayulita while still offering a peaceful and relaxing escape. The breakfast each morning was absolutely delicious and something we looked forward to every day. It was the perfect way to start our mornings before heading out to explore. And the location truly couldn’t have been better — close to everything, just steps from the beach, shops, and amazing restaurants, yet still peaceful and relaxing. The staff was so warm, welcoming, and attentive. Their genuine hospitality made our stay even more memorable. This trip was even more meaningful because we got engaged during our time there, and Casa Lotería will forever hold a special place in our hearts because of it. Celebrating such an important moment in such a beautiful setting made it all the more special. We are already dreaming about our next visit and can’t wait to return to Casa Lotería. It will always be a place filled with the most wonderful memories for us. 💛

Wonderful stay! Very clean, ample space in suites, great staff, tasty breakfasts, quiet a/c, refreshing pool, kiddy pool and hot tub. Yoga! A filtered drinking water tap. The staff were generally helpful and it's a really charming spot in Sayulita. The hotel was near everything and we got the free breakfast add-on which was very worth it! There were a couple of things that were less than satisfactory: - The shower consistently didnt have hot water - If you get back later in the night (after midnight) the front desk is unattended for a while and you have to wait for someone - one of the air-conditioning units did not work But they were all pretty minor things for us ! So overall we had a fantastic stay :)
