This little bed & breakfast is located near the ocean in Maunabo, Puerto Rico. It has an infinity pool overlooking the ocean. Rooms are comfortable enough for 4 to 6 people and the complimentary breakfast is good. The only thing this place needs to improve... is a better pool bar and bartenders to tend it. If you'd extent pool service with better drinks it would be amazing.
The hotel was good but the cleaning is poor, specially in the pool. Is a good place for family and child's very peaceful. Need to restore the rooms and the entire hotel. The price is good. Some places for eat food food, near the hotel. The personal in the notes was helpfully and friendly.
A really wonderful place. The staff were incredible and room were real clean. A must go to place. This place is magical, it's just beautiful. Amazing scenery and fantastic staff! Definitely a great place to get away.
My family and I had a great time. Pool is beautiful and clean, rooms are comfortable. Just what we needed to relax for a week. We had breakfast included and it was great. Lunch and dinner served at a cost. There is also a restaurant right across from the place if you don't want to eat at their restaurant.
The staff is very friendly and very attentive. We found their infinity pool dirty and the next day the pool was not cleaned appropriately. The staff needs training in that important area. The rooms were clean and tidy. The food is good. The neighborhood is relaxing. The drive up the coast is enjoyable. We visited the the lighthouse which have spectacular views.
Stayed for a short honeymoon weekend after having stayed at their Guanica 1929 hotel. The service at 1929 was excellent and we were expecting the same, when we were received at the front desk, it looked like we were in for the same experience. The front desk staff was courteous and service oriented and so was the housekeeping staff, the restaurant staff on the other hand needs a serious overhaul. From the way they told my wife they "didn't have a house rice and that white rice and beans is all there is" to the absurdly salty sauce they served on my steak they need to get their service up to to par with their other hotels in the chain.
" The customer service was outstanding everyone was very friendly and caring. The rooms can use a little updating cause some of the fixtures were loose or kept falling off. Besides that our stay was awesome and I will be staying at Maunacaribe again. "
A place to be relax. Nice service food is good and at a accessible price. Excellent all inclusive offers. Beach view is beautiful and a great opportunity to walk along a private beach. An excellent opportunity for a get away and meet the real PR.
The room was clean, bed was comfortable, and in amenities it was above average. Air conditioning worked great. TV screen display was awful. They need to improve in service both in hospitality and restaurant. The restaurant was very slow serving food and when served it was below average. They have a beautiful pool which is basically all that there is to do but they do not provide pool towels. The beach is beautiful to look at but it is not usable. Also, you can not find water or ice after 9pm. They have an area with a sign announcing they sell both things but they no longer have the facility and just forgot to take it down. There is a game room with no air conditioning ( at least working) and Xbox equipment that does not work. I guess you have to probably request controls or something but the personal at the lobby saw us go in etc and had absolutely nothing to say. They can certainly learn a little more about hospitality customer service. There is nothing to do at night so if you stay make sure you just want to rest and enjoy leisure time.
I have to say my stay was relaxing and lovely but I wanted to point out the pros and the cons. As for the pros and cons: *beach not for swimming- even though the beach is not for swimming, the sound of the waves and the walks along the beach are just perfect. This one has a con also. *No wifi in the rooms. The rooms consist of two full beds, flat screen tv ( the tv only allows the digital channels there's no cable tv so don't expect one). It also have a mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. And the bathroom could use a remodeling. *the parador is a green hotel. It has the philosophy of using the same towels during the stay to save on water usage and other chemicals. It also allows pets. *the features: it has a gaming room that has an Xbox Kinect and also a DVD player and tv aside from the xbox to watch your favorite movies. It has an event room in case there's a special ocasión they can celebrate it there. It also has a pool table room. *the pool: it come from 2 ft of depth to 4 ft of depth. There's not lifeguard. You have to follow the rules like no jumping or diving etc. And the best part is an infinity pool that makes the illusion of falling water into the ocean. Which is super lovely. This feature is the best part of the place. Also the wifi is offer around the pool area. *restaurant/attached bar: I took the Oferton. Which is a type of discount that you get through the ofertones.com page. It was a great deal. It comes with breakfast, snack and dinner included. All is within a Menu except the snacks so you can choose whatever you like. The food at times compared to other Paradores within the chain gave better amount of food. The only time you would get full was at dinner. I will specified more in this area below. Quality of food** Breakfast depending on what you order you could get full or hungry. Since I visited Palmas de Lucia and Hotel Lucia Beach, this Parador in particular didn't offer the same amount of bread in the breakfast for example. Also the pancakes were cook super tiny. And you get three pieces of bacon. The Hotel Lucia Beach will give you better amount of food during breakfast. I was disappointed by some of their breakfast amount. My son and daughter receive the same plate as I did and the last day ate hot cereal and it was a small plate while in the other parador were of bigger amount. Now the food itself taste good. Now what I want to point out as an overall opinion is this hotel even though is pretty, it should follow consistency with the other hotels which are own by the same owner. You should offer the same quality at all your chains. I liked the pool which was almost the only thing I liked but my mom and brother weren't happy. Anyways, you can still book and experience this and other hotels from the chain Tropical Inns. If your looking to relax and hear the ocean waves at night is the perfect spot. Also you can visit other cities in the east. Hopefully I will be returning but probably to other ones since I'm happy with the first two parador I mention before.
