How great the staff was to everyone.
The cats were in the dining room too often; There is a time and place for animals not while I'm eating... Staff was very friendly but they all celebrated New Year's at the property with their families and lead to service of the guest being very slow and they helped themselves to the things that you were paying for... (Drinks and food was made faster as they went back to talk to the cook and bartender)
We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Valeria! It was in the city center and the owner/staff were all so nice! The breakfast was amazing every morning, fresh delicious fruit! "Lisa" was our favorite staff member. Thank you for taking such good care of her !

Rooms are nice, the food us good and it is in a safe and popular part of the city. Not many outlets, so bring an extention cord if you need.

Close to everything, Bar and restaurant on site. I do not like to minibar arrangement. They want to verify when you check out but do not verify when you check in.

This property is one of the nicest in Sosua. It is small, very clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I had a larger family style room as it was the only room available for my dates and as it was a bit more expensive it gave me much more room. All thing considered I would give this trip an 8 on a 8 to 10 scale.
It was one of the best hotels I have been to, the customer service, the room service was excellent and everything else I loved.

Another great stay at Casa Valeria. One day the television did work after hotel maintenance could not fix, cable company repaired next day. The only problem of the whole trip.

Dear Alan, Sorry about the cat situation unfortunately there are mixed reasons as some guests who do not care if there are animals in the area feed the cats they tend to go over there , we do our best to keep them out of that area but it is difficult.I am glad you enjoyed the staff as they are a great bunch of people, and we are sorry for that you felt as if you were overlooked during the new years eve party. I do think you may have misunderstood that there was faster service to the owners, when we went back it was to help out as the staff had alot to do during that evening, pretty much no one had made a reservation so all the clients came in from the street and we had little warning that it was going to fill up as it did. If someone went in behind the bar to look for a drink it was to relieve the bartenders so they could focus on the guests. Again sorry if you felt it was something else going on during that evening as the staff is well instructed that guests go first and owners second.

Dear Jermanie, I spoke to various other clients after your complaint and seems like you were the only one who was disturbed by all these supposed roosters and cats all over. But you can't please everyone, some people go on vacation just to complain and air out their personal problems on others, what was it you wanted me to do? go around and kill stray cats and animals for you? :) Good luck in your future stays at other hotels.
