This was our 3rd time coming to this hotel. My husband and love it. Its quiet, relaxing and beautiful. Perfect for couples.
I was greeted with cold towels & a drink. I was NOT impressed at all with the room. Do not do the sales pitch on the resort unless you want to sign a $40k agreement …. The food was ok , but staff were very nice . The pool needs an upgrade , the seat at the pool bar ripped my trunks . Place isn’t horrible but I stayed at better places
First and last time going
I didn't like the fact that they fircr you to wear shoes for the restaurant. My family and were planning to stay longer but we were disappointed with this. We all had dress shirts and jeans but we were still rejected at the restaurant and our reservation was lost. We will not be coming back to Blue Bay. We are on vacation, in the Caribbean, we should be able to wear sandal to eat at the beach. The place was clean and everyone was nice. They should be more accomodating at this restaurant. We never had issues at other 4 stars resorts.
Very nicely located on a calm ocean beach with comfortable beds with sun cover. Very nice ambience. Staff is extremely nice and friendly. Absolutely a paradise for staying away from crowd and rowdy young crowd. Peaceful and calm atmosphere even at beach. The rooms are getting little outdated and will need remodeling in future. Superior room with balcony is very small as they count area of balcony as part of room square footage. The website states three ala carte restaurant with Oriental fusion cuisine, seafood & grilled meat but it is inaccurate. Only one restaurant open each day and grilled meat is replaced with Italian. If you are looking for steak or lobster, there is upcharge so technically ala carte is not at all inclusive as it states.

The staff was awesome, the property itself needs alot of updating and renovation. We were told it was closed for 2 years due to the pandemic, it shows and needs alot of work.
Can do better overall
The place is spotless and the staff is amazing. However, they refused to honor the upgrade we bought. And maintenance wasnt good. My husband had to fix the sink in our room after multiple attempts to get it fixed
