Conversely, cost of living concerns e.g. no more chips & salsa when consuming beverages at said 2nd floor patio, reduced quality of what used to be pretty good breakfast entries etc., must be acknowledged.

We had a great stay at Hotel Santa Fe over this past Christmas and NYE! The room was large and the bed comfy. We are at the restaurant daily for breakfast and many nights for dinner. The food was great and the view wonderful. The restaurant prices were very similar to most places in town. The staff was great but sometimes it would get so busy the service was slow. We loved the pool area. Would definitely come back.
