Great hotel friendly staff

It's a beautiful place

This is more like a 2 star hotel. Old dirty and needs remodeling. Our room had a lot of bugs since there is cracks in the windows and in the door. Also the toilet wouldn’t flush everytime you go number 2 all the smell comes out since there is really not a door and bathroom is small. Unfortunately o didn’t listened to the negative reviews.totally a rip off. Also there is no hot or even warm water when you shower water is freezing.

Beautiful views, two great pools (could use a bit of upkeep, but overall clean), bar service at the pool, good vegetarian/pescatarian at the restaurant, beds are a bit hard but not as bad as some I have slept on in Mexico! Nice place.

Nicely tucked into the NW corner of this beach town (Zicatela). The restaurant and main patio look over the beach - great for watching the waves break while eating/drinking. The rooms are set-back off the road and quite. A great place to relax. Walking distance to the more happening venues.

The hotel was in a wonderful location, right next to great restaurants on Zicatela beach, and the hotel restaurant had wonderful vegetarian food. However, our room phone was broken, the wifi was very poor, and the pools weren't very clean. The 'partial view' of the Ocean turned out to be a view of the bushes in the back of the hotel from a terrace that was very very small.

After arriving late from a long bus ride from Oaxaca, the hotel was a beautiful, welcoming respite. They carried our luggage up the stairs and we had a tasty dinner there in a lovely, open air restaurant listening to the waves break nearby. The room was spacious, with a balcony large enough for 2 chairs, a small table, and a view of the sea. The ac worked nicely, the sheets were good, the mattress not as comfy as home but we slept well. The pools and “grounds” were well kept and clean. Lots of beautiful areas to sit/lounge at and look at the sea, the pool, the garden and people coming and going. A mini resort for sure. Cross the one way, not busy street in front and you are on the beach. We will stay there for sure whenever we return to P.E.

Loved lication, staff, room, view and swimming pools

Comfortable and conveniently located across from the beach with a very good restaurant and three pools. Not fancy but a good hotel, especially for the price!

Our room had an ant home in it so we constantly had ants everywhere. We let the front desk know and theye came in with a can of raid. The rooms are dark and could use some updating. Beds are some what comfortable.

A really amazing hacienda style hotel with amazing views! The rooms have a really authentic, Mexican style look to them. Highly recommend the breakfast!

The location of this hotel is very good. The rooms are huge! the biggest room I have ever had in Mexico. The only bad thing is the staff. The staff was not very friendly...,

We stayed for nine nights and would've stayed longer given the time. Great location, right at the meeting of two beaches--central to most of the local areas of interest. The rooms were clean, comfortable, spacious. The hotel was cozy colonial with great pools and lush landscaping. The staff and food and views were also exceptional. We would definitely go back.

Very nice, clean and centrally located hotel. Has two pools, restaurant and terrace overlooking the ocean. Restaurant is very good and their personnel customer service oriented. Would highly recommend it.

The3re are cheaper hotels in Puerto Escondido, but it was worth the price, especially during the high season, between Xmas and New Year. The restaurant is a gourmet vegetarian/fish place with great live entertainment nightly. It is next to the beach.

The hotel Santa Fe is of a colonial elegance that, although slightly dated in some regards, retains a classic period look of a cultured bygone era. The hotel is across the road from the quiet end of Puerto Escondido beach. It has all the requirements of a restful paradise with two nice poools,an open, breezy restaurant which overlooks the rocks and beach ( seafood and vegetarian menu ) just a stroll from the beach bars and pizza parlours of the surfing end of the promenade. If you are looking for a business style hotel then this may not be for you, but as travellers touring the coast of Mexico, this was a wonderful experience. WiFi and library were a great bonus, as well as secure parking.
