If you dont mind to use the toilet with your partner able to see you pick room #7. The door doesnt close due to the bed being too close to the door. The bed cannot be moved. The air conditioning was leaking water. Only tiny drops. Im not the type to complaint so i didnt bother, slept to opposite side. Even though all rooms were occupied in 3 days the pool wasnt maintained, the waterfiltering was off so i didnt use it. I Never use a pool if water filtering system is not working. For the price you can stay, its walking distance to Oregano restaurant (breakfast & early dinning). 5 minutes to closing continental breakfast, my pregnant wife and i wouldve appreciated at least coffee. Not a simple sorry we're closed for breakfast! Curtesy is always appreciated. It doenst matter if you stay in Zoa (Michellin star winner) or here....what really matter is how you are treated were you stay. Casa kalmar offers coffee all day, heated pool until 11pm, soft music morning hours. Best stay overall.

Not enough towels in the two rooms, nor toilet paper. (Which was not new rolls) Drunk people around the pool with loud music. Beautiful hotel, but the staff unhelpful and the environment not the best.

Nuestra estancia en Hotel Playa Caracol, en Puerto Escondido (habitación 306), fue decepcionante. El hotel no es como se muestra en las fotos en línea. El estacionamiento es limitado y esto no se menciona al momento de reservar. La actitud del personal, especialmente durante el turno nocturno, fue poco profesional y descortés. Además, encontramos cucarachas en la habitación y no recibimos seguimiento por parte de la gerencia tras reportarlo. Durante la limpieza, también retiraron una toalla personal que no pertenecía al hotel. En nuestro último día de estancia, en el área de la piscina existen supuestas reglas, sin embargo, permiten el ingreso de cervezas en botella. Una de estas botellas fue arrojada y golpeó mi automóvil, y el hotel consideró que una simple disculpa era suficiente, sin asumir mayor responsabilidad. En general, el servicio, la seguridad y la experiencia estuvieron muy por debajo de lo esperado. ⸻ 🏨 Our stay at Hotel Playa Caracol in Puerto Escondido (room 306) was disappointing. The hotel does not match the photos shown online. Parking is limited and this is not mentioned during booking. The staff attitude, especially during the night shift, was unprofessional and rude. We also found cockroaches in the room and received no follow-up from management after reporting the issue. Additionally, housekeeping removed a personal towel that did not belong to the hotel. I really was disappointed with this property. Pictures looks great on the expedia website but it's something way different when you there. Pool looks unkept and dirty, same as all the tables and chairs, seems that they have a lot deffer maintenance. Not recommend to anyone at all.

Good Hotel

The hotel was handy to the adoquin and close to a place where I had a meeting scheduled. The pool water was clean (not cloudy) but there was a lot of debris floating in it, ie, palapa grass pieces and a cigarette butt. The tv only had 3 Sky TV channels.
