Clean and quiet easy check in good tv nice shower nice bed pillows
For a Marriott Brand, I am disappointed with this property. Comforter had stains on it and when asked for a new one, the new one had some also. Gross. Dishwasher had standing water. Room was hot and it took a long time for it to cool down if at all. Toilet lid was cracked. Floor was so dirty. Fold out bed mattress is so old and lumpy. We left 5 days early.
I like that it has a full kitchen. It is near shopping center. The staffs are helpful and always ready to assist when you need help.
I think its a very nice place. The suites are wonderful
This property has not been well maintained. The tile grout was dirty, tub base and cabinets were dirty, fridge was dented, walls had paint patches visible, and there was a hole in the wall in the bathroom. The key to the door only worked sometimes. The best thing about this property is the proximity to BYU and Provo Canyon.
The front desk staff were particularly pleasant and treated us as if we were friends or important.
Quiet location, with staff who were obviously well trained on providing good service.
We will now be staying here for the 3rd time. Modern, clean with all the amenities you’d expect plus 2 restaurants. Much better than the noise and unreliable A/C of the historic hotels nearby, and Durango is just as accessibie. We always choose a room that has a balcony facing the Animas River, where we can sit and enjoy a cup of coffee. Their cute bar that serves food also is on the river, and they have another restaurant on property as well. The Animas River Walk is right behind the hotel, a great place to walk, bike or run. A grocery store adjoins the parking lot and all the funky fun restaurants of Durango are walkable from the hotel. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else when I’m in Durango!
The lower rating was purely because of room cleanliness. There was dirt everywhere in the corners and small bits of trash under the beds hid by bedskirts. It just felt like things were superficially cleaned which is a bit disconcerting. Ignoring that aspect, the staff was very friendly and helpful, the breakfast was great with a lot of options, and the amenities were cool (grassy lawns, pickle ball court, basketball hoop, swimming pool, etc.) If the rooms were deeply cleaned better, we would have had no complaints.
We stayed here twice in a matter of a week and a half. The first night was in a 2 room suite. Very nice room, very nice/comfortable beds. Great to have 2 full bathrooms. The second night we stayed in a suite with a queen bed and a sofa bed. You could tell it was a cheaper room, the kitchen had a stove top but no oven. The sofa bed wasn't the most comfortable thing in the world. But overall it's a very nice hotel and would recommend it to anyone.
This hotel has a very friendly staff. We were greeted each time we arrived through the front door -- even at 1:00 am that first night. There are fun activities for kids -- a pool, spa and fitness center which make this a fun family destination. Breakfast was great with waffle maker, eggs sausage, oatmeal and toppings and yoghurt and cereal options. Room spacious and clean!
This hotel has suites with full kitchen. there is a grocery store nearby. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Nice hot breakfast with waffles, eggs, etc. not just juice and cereal. We only stayed one night, but this place is good for longer stays.
Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, plenty of options. Pool area looked clean, did not use. Queen sized beds not King...time to get into the 21st century! Living area furniture very worn and not comfortable. Refrigerator fan very noisy. Didn't use appliances other than coffeemaker. Bathroom walls and ceiling had some gross stains. Overall, average. If furniture upgraded and units refurbished would be worthy of above average due to staff, breakfast and convenience of kitchen. Also, could not find better options in the area.
WE stayed in Provo only one night on our way to Yellowstone and could not have been happier with our choice of the Residence Inn, Provo. From the moment of our arrival, the staff was terrific. The room was spotless and comfy, the kitchen great, with a full size frig and everything we needed to cook our own dinner. The full breakfast buffet was one of the best I have seen. I'd return anytime, with pleasure.
We attended a family wedding at Sundance Resort and stayed at this hotel for the value. What a pleasant surprise as the room was generous and the bed extremely comfortable. Nice to have room coffee and popcorn too! We did not need the complimentary breakfast but it looked great.
We visit Provo often and have stayed in many hotels in town and in the area. This has been the best stay so far. The location was perfect, the breakfast was really good with great variety, the rooms were clean and spaceous. We have decided that we will always stay here when in Provo.
I have a peaceful getaway with my wife! We enjoy the walking distance to Provo river and the beautiful view to the mountains! The continental breakfast was great! The suite is awesome and comfortable. :) We couldn't get in the pool area because the excessive amount of chlorine, that's was the only factor that we didn't like. :(
Excellent, fabulous for the money. Good bed & pillows, nice bath, room includes couch coffe table, easy chair. Opens to room with kitchenettes, including full fridge, microwave, dish washer, table, cabinets with nice dishes and pots, coffee maker. Small desk with good office chair is also included. Staff very friendly. Terrific breakfast comes with the room.
