I have to say that the room was truly clean and the bed was very comfortable. However, I haven't been entirely happy about my stay at Pasarela Hotel. When I booked, it was clearly indicated that the breakfast was included in the price of the room. At my arrival, none of the staff members explained that the breakfast was actually NOT included. I found out this at the moment of my checkout, when I was billed with 10 euros per person, per each morning!! This is very unfair and a bit dishonest too, as they should be clear about this. Annoying and unprofessional behaviour!
I travel with my partner. Often on the road, one night, one different stay. In several years, we never run into problems. Except for hotel Pasarela. The hotel claims four stars but is dirty, old-looking and decadent. Inside, you feel a non-renewed late 80's setting. When you are in the room it's better: grey sheets, each bed has a different one, dirty blankets (blue pen stains... do you want to see photos? It's better not to...). Old is the hotel, old is the staff: unpleasant, uneducated, if you ask them for a pleasure... you can better sort up things by yourself. We paid for a 4* hotel, we received a 2* service. The customer management, the setting, breakfast are 2* like. Then, it's better to be a great 2* hotel rather than being a very very decadent 4*. So, we paid, we did not have a service, the hotel was dirty... why should this happen?
Stayed here for a weekend and thought it was a very nice hotel, room was quite big although a little dark but very comfortable and nice and clean. It was in a very good location just out of the city so was quiet but didn’t take us long to walk in to all the sights and restaurants. We had breakfast there which was perfectly adequate and the waiter worked hard to clean up and keep it tidy. Would certainly stay here again.
Situated opposite the rear of Plaza de España, this hotel is in a great location! It is clean and tidy with large bedrooms and a super king bed. The bathroom is roomy and plenty of storage. It has air conditioning which really is welcome after walking in the heat. The staff are friendly and helpful. It is within walking distance of the cathedral and all of the cafes and restaurants. We had breakfast included. Hot and cold buffet with plenty of choice. I would recommend this hotel.
Pasarela is well located for the centre of Seville. It may not be a perfect 4 star but it offers everything that you could wish in a comfortable, clean and reasonably quiet hotel. The staff were obliging and breakfast was more than adequate. Definite return for me when I bring my wife to see Seville.
The rooms are little dated but clean and a good size. Friendly helpful staff. We had a view into the central well which wasn't great but I suspect you can pay more and get a city view. There are a couple of good cafe/bars in the area (one in the same block as the hotel) for breakfast of tostadas and coffee and a bakery within 5 minutes if you prefer croissants. The hotel is pretty much across the street from the Plaza de Espana and within an easy walk (through mostly park) to the cathdral, alcazar and old quarter. It is also handy for the San Bernardo station, although a taxi to Santa Justa was only 5 euros.
This was a pleasant place to stay, although not really 4-star. Very helpful staff on reception, and we were lucky enough to get a parking space under the building (they have very few spaces). Easy to find by car, on a main thoroughfare. We had a room on 6th floor overlooking the very impressive Plaza de Espana building. Cross the road from the hotel to go into the lovely gardens and see the building. The facilities at this hotel are fine, but it's not really a 4-star - and therefore a bit expensive for what you get. Breakfast is ok with the usual continental items. There were some 'hot' items too: bacon, baked beans and mini-sausages, which were all lukewarm. Reception will tell you that Seville city centre is a 10-minute walk - it's further than that! We walked it once, but there is a tram a much shorter walk from the hotel which takes you right to the centre. You can buy pre-paid cards for the tram at a Tabac kiosk.
We loved our time at the Hotel Pasarela. The front desk staff were fantastic and helpful and we didn't speak Spanish. When we first arrived, we were in rooms with no view or balcony. We found that there were rooms with a view available and we upgraded to the corner room with the large long balconies. Worthwhile. Someone here complained about not having a chair or table on the balcony. Well, there is an easy to lift table and chairs and we put it on the balcony. Easy enough to do. I find it incredible that people travelling to this country and staying here complaining about the local sounds of sirens etc. We didn't have any such problem but we also don't have a problem with local sounds and experiencing a country or area as it is. That's part of the experience of travelling! If you don't want to experience that, stay home and don't travel. Breakfast is very plentiful and we certainly eat a hearty breakfast to get us through the morning. The Spanish people working at this hotel were nothing but helpful and kind to us. No, it maybe not the western idea of a 4 star hotel but it is very clean and our suite was superb and felt like we were in Seville, and not in Las Vegas. We wanted to experience Spain as Spain, not as a ritzy hotel. And this delivered for us. There was no room service but that was a good thing because we ate out and there are so many amazing places to eat at. Exceptionally clean, great housekeeping. And I had the best sleeps. Great bed, very comfortable so I don't know what others who complained about the bed were complaining about. In fact, had I relied on the reviews I read about this hotel, I might not have booked and that would have been a shame for my time in Spain. So it's important to note that that beds were very comfortable in both rooms I had and other than jetlag, I slept very well. Probably, the only thing that I might say is that shower and bath are smaller than what I'm used to in the West but that's all part of the experience. Mucho gracias.
The room was clean but nothing special. We had paid for a room with a balcony but there were no chairs or table on the balcony so we couldn't really benefit for paying for the extra. Such a shame. However, the breakfast was lovely. Very varied and what made the otherwise disappointing hotel worth a visit. The location is a little way out of the cultural city centre but we picked it because we had a hire car so needed parking. Would visit again just for the breakfast.
As others have said, this is NOT a 4-star hotel. Overall, the facilities are not bad, though. The room was big enough for us to spread out our things and have a happy hour at the table each evening. The WiFi worked okay; it was fast enough that I could make phone calls; I believe the speed was about 18 Mbps. Here are the limitations: 1. I booked in early April. I checked in in late May. I call that an early booking. At the time I booked there was no free breakfast available. But the hotel website said when we arrived said that a free breakfast was included for anyone making an early booking 3 or more nights throughout 2017. I asked about this at the desk. The person said, "Breakfast is not included in your reservation." I said, "But your website says it is free for staying 3 or more nights." He said I could speak to his manager the next morning. A GOOD employee would have said, "I will check with my manager and let you know what he says before breakfast tomorrow morning." 2. The NOISE!! It starts about 7:30 in the distance every weekday morning and becomes next-door VERY LOUD by 8:00. It is protesters at the front of the Endesa Energy company building next door. No wonder they are giving free breakfasts to some who stay there!! You will be awake early enough for it--loud sirens, whistles, horns, chanting that continues until 11:00.
