Hotel Montecarlo

The rooms were clean and tidy, but the bed was comparable to sleeping on the floor for the night, the shower head also faced out of the shower-over-bath leading to a flood in the bathroom. Good location for exploring.

Clean rooms, close to the things we wanted to see, and good eating down the street. Offloading baggage could be a problem. Staff were very helpfull with pointing out local restaurants with good food at reasonable prices.

The hotel is conveniently located, some 10 blocks from the historic part, so it is within a walking distance. There is a pedestrian street full of shopping that leads you directly to the plaza and Cathedral. The room was rather small, but good for the price. It was a standard view, without balcony, and the window looks to an inside patio, nothing to look at. The bathroom was fine, functional but small. The young staff at the front desk were attentive and help us to find some places. The breakfast was served on the street level, with a good buffet, rather simple. There was fresh orange juice, a variety of pastry, bread and cheese and ham, scrambled eggs, and the typical things. It was good, nothing special. There is a few parking available at the hotel, exactly for 12 cars, so I needed to park on the street. Fortunately, we stay there for the weekend so I was able to park after two or three drives around some blocks. There is also a public parking garage some blocks away from the hotel.

Reasonably well located in the old part of town 10 to 15 minutes walk to the Alcazar and the Cathedral (which houses the tomb of Christopher Colombus). The interior decor of the hotel is quirky but attractive. The room has all necessary amenities but is rather dull. It overlooked a narrow street. Wifi is only available in public areas, not in the room. Staff were indifferent - probably because they spoke little English. Access to the hotel is through a narrow one-way street and you'd have to mount the pavement until you unload the suitcases from the car. Public parking is quite a distance away (the car parks are huge with several entrances and they all look the same so make sure you know exactly where you left your car - it took us some 45 minutes to find our car). To be honest, the hotel is not very suitable if you are driving.

A very nice hotel with everything you need to spent a couple of nights in beautiful Seville. Nice service and very close to city center. The only downside was the fact that we ordered a twin bed and they only had a two bed room. The room was very clean and cosy.

Very nice pleasant hotel. Helpful lady at reception. Good value for money. Clean. Comfortable queensize bed. Moved from awful dump around the corner! So glad we did! Worth the little bit extra spent .

We stayed here for three nights during our kids' half term break from school, for a short trip to Spain - the location of the hotel was great that we could see most of the places of interest in Seville.

I did not select this hotel initially but got an email a few days before check in while in Spain that the hotel booked was closed. The hotel was easy to find and in a charming location. My first room at the hotel had a dripping toilet so I asked to switch rooms. The second room was quiet, nice sized and clean but the bed was not very comfortable. Breakfast buffet was nice. Staff was friendly but was disappointed that when I asked about city tours I was directed to a Spanish only tour that I prepaid for. I think it was obvious to the staff I spoke with I was not fluent in Spanish. The tour pick up location had moved due to city construction so it took some hiking to find it.

The main advantage of this hotel is the location, close to the old city center, 10-15 minutes walk. It is comforysble, clean, the staff is helpful and wi-fi is ok. The furniture is a bit old and the bathroom needs some refurbishment.

The hotel is so cold .. We were freezing . The bads were bad and the room was also cold. The rest is okay. But dont stay here in the winter. Location good! Breakfast okay but the coffee machine makes cold coffee too.) I would stay here again if I got a better bed and maybe in the summer-
