There was no Wi-Fi service in our room, so I had to go to the Clubhouse everyday to get on the internet and do my work!
No AC in the unit was annoying, but the rooms are shared with a next door unit and a 1" gap under the door, literally can hear everything the neighbor is saying on any phone call or anything, Zero Privacy at all which is annoying especially with loud kids in the room next door. Landscaping of the property was well taken care of, looked beautiful and free parking is nice but would not stay there again. Do not need anything super nice but need to at least be able to sleep.
I booked the room 2 months ago, after flying and driving, long day when I reached the hotel, they told me because of overbooking no room. I have to drive another hour to get more expensive room in the middle of the night.
A hotel, at a minimum, needs to provide a place to sleep. This hotel does not provide that basic human need, and therefore I cannot in good conscience recommend you stay here. Most units do not have air conditioning. In order to keep cool, the windows must be open. But a high percentage of the units are alongside a busy road, and every so often a car with extremely loud music passes by, or a loud truck, or a modified car trying to show off - and it’s so so loud. If you could close the windows it would be a bit better, but you have to leave them open to stay cool enough. If you’re lucky enough to get a unit off the road, then you still have to contend with the roosters with your windows open. And if there’s a unit on top of you, you’ll hear everything. To make matters worse the tile combined with the heavy dining furniture scraping across makes it impossible for your upstairs neighbors to live quietly even if they tried. We were checking in on my actual birthday, and have a 4 month old, and booked a 2 bedroom but only needed a 1 bedroom and were willing to take a smaller unit. We also said we were willing to pay extra for A/C or a unit off of the main road. We thought surely this combination of things would make our stay passable. Absolutely terrible experience. I regret booking this place thinking optimistically we wouldn’t get stuck in one of those units people complained about. We did. Don’t travel all the way to Hawaii to have terrible sleep and terrible ambiance.
There is self-parking, which could get busy and after 8 PM you could have to walk very far to park. Clean inside, and dishware available to cook.
I was overly shocked at the amount of space in this home away from home. Remarkable. Didn’t expect an entire apartment inside a golf resort. Amazing price and location.
People could see right into our room because we had to have the windows open because of the heat and no air conditioning. We could hear everything from the room next door as if they were standing right in our room. Only received 2 towels for the entire week.
What I didn't appreciate was being asked to take out my trash and put my dishes away in a non-existant dishwasher. Even if it is suggested "as a courtesy to the hotel" seeing that I did not receive any courtesy on my bill, even after a huge cockroach was found in my room. Not only that did I mention the huge cockroach? We were able to switch rooms but there was no "courtesy" of an upgrade or even any money taken off the bill. Lastly, the beach towels were dirty with someone elses stains. I was able to exchange them which was nice, but a dirty towel should not be left out for guests in the first place.
The staff was great with things ti do. The room had plenty of space and the grounds were beatutiful.
Really nice place to stay in princeville. Me and my wife really enjoy the stay .
We enjoyed our stay. The staff was great. Room/unit was subpar. Updated kitchen and bathroom but not completely updated.
Nice place to stay. The roosters crowing in the morning were classic. I would stay again.
The "hotel" wasn't what we expected since it was a time share condo. At check/in they request that you sit in on a talk and perhaps book excursions. They were really sweet though. Large and beautiful condo for a great price. It doesn't have a/c anywhere- not even in the bedrooms. Though it likely is rateky needed. We traveled in the summer on hot days, They brought an extra fan and we opened up all the windows and doors and it turned out very well.
No air conditioner!!! This is Hawaii and it gets hot.
We arrived around 8 and were told we were the last check in for the day. Consequently we received a downstairs room at the corner of the highway and main entrance. Since there's no AC, leaving the windows and doors open is a MUST. This is not ideal however as people are walking by your open room all night. But that's just the way the place is laid out, so not much you can do. In any case, avoid room 10A if you can. Once in the room, one bed had dirt in the sheets and another bed had dead centipedes. Customer service wasn't concerned which seemed to be the general theme while we were there. The one exception was the Concierge desk. Everyone there was excellent! In short, there are better options in the area and I would opt for one of those first.
Nice condo with a great island atmosphere pool. They greeted us with Leis, shell necklaces and mai tai at lobby. Place is clean, staff was great, beautiful decorations. No air conditioner, just fans, roasters wake you in morning. Near Na Poli coast and Hanalei.
