I been at this particular Sonesta several times. The rooms are beautiful. However the staff are nice but awful changes have been made per staff. For example I'm a 105 pd lady. I ask front desk who was a man after 4pm May I please get a little help. Even if I drag my heavy suitcases to the door can someone please just being it upstairs. There are no elevators or luggage carriers at this Sonesta. He says No . No one can help you everyone is busy. I was shocked. And also they charge you a 50 incidental which I always have a problem getting back. I ask can I pay cash for my stay and use the 50 for incidental on my card. What happens us they charge your stay in incidental together and it gives your bank a big possibility that the full charge. I thought paying cash was the most insure way of paying your bill. The nice lady says. No more we cannot accept no cash for the stay. And I have spent thousands of dollars in this particular hotel and I do have Sonesta Travel Plan. Where you receive points for free nights and if you been here as long as I have you can ask for a better room if its available. Well that change too for the worst. The housekeeping staff Be very speaks, not even smile. It change so much after a year. Sonesta very nice hotel. I will go to another one.

WE WHEN TO VISIT PRINCETON UNIVERSITY .GREAT ALL AROUND BED WAS GREAT ROOMS WAS BIG.CLEAN.BREAKFAST WAS GOOD FOR BEING INCLUDED

Check-in took too long-15 min and 3 people but we were told our reservation was in order right away. I had requested in writing for a ground floor room as I would be on crutches directly to the hotel verbally ahead of time and in my written booking request. We did get a ground room but far from parking and they were unable to change as we had requested a fire place. The hotel is under construction so there was noise in morning and areas blocked off. The staff was very polite but didn't seem to all be properly trained. There were also no pots or pans to go with stove and oven. I have forwarded my comments to their headquarters with no reply to date. This was our second stay there this year. It might be our last.

All was fine, except the bed was quite saggy and lumpy. The breakfast was a great value. The staff were welcoming and friendly and helpful. There are several good restaurants within about a ten minute drive south.

It is a great hotel with kitchen facility, free breakfast, free light dinner, free parking which is not very common in the East Coast.

Very nice hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean, well maintained, and spacious. Pool and patio area is very nice. My only complaint is it is a pain to get to the hotel if you are coming from one direction. You have to drive past and make a U-turn, but in NJ you actually have to get into the right lane to make the u-turn

Nice large space, clean, and I got at a good rate. Undergoing renovations but didn't impact my stay. Sound barrier to hall and floor above could be improved. Overall very nice.

staff is accommodating. Forgot some belongings and they were nice enough to call me promptly.

Room is teriffic. Hotel has no amenities outside of a very basic and bland breakfast. You must have a car when staying at this hotel since it is not within walking distance of any restaurants.

Our one week stay at the Residence Inn was not only the best deal of our trip but a most enjoyable experience. From the time we checked in until we checked out, the entire staff was helpful, friendly, courteous, and went out of their way to provide for our comfort and convenience, including shuttle rides. They even personally appologized with a little gift for a short power outage that was not their fault. The breakfasts were ample and tasty, the laundry facilities worked well, and our suite was wonderfully set up with power outlets and kitchen needs as well as tastefully decorated and very clean . Ironically with all this fabulous service and spotless well appointed rooms, we did have to ask for some basics like toilet paper and soap. However that was a very small blip on a perfect stay. We highly recommend the Princeton Residence Inn to anyone coming to Princeton, New Jersey.
