Field of Dreams - Secluded w Sauna

Summary:
Field of Dreams is a cozy private spot, just outside of Bloomfield in Prince Edward County. This large property has ample room for guests and enough space to feel like you can have privacy. In the backyard, you will find lots of space to roam, and a gorgeous wood fired cedar sauna.

This home is fully licensed as per Prince Edward County STA bylaws to host up to 4 adults and 2 children under the age of 10 #ST-0404-2020

The Space:
Field of Dreams is the place you've been looking for in the County. Two comfortable and cozy rooms, with lots of space between. A small room upstairs with a pullout sofa can also provide proximity for children. You will find one bathroom on each floor, close to the bedrooms. Everything you need in the kitchen for cooking stay-in meal is provided. Have a dinner party, or bring take out in. The open concept upper floor means that you can be in many rooms at once! Downstairs you will find a gas fireplace, large sofa and television. We have recently upgraded our wifi to fibre optic (October 2025).

Outside you will find a large yard with many trees, and a fire pit. A gorgeous outdoor sauna, cedar interior and large picture window will make your stay relaxing and memorable.

The Neighborhood:
With Bloomfield and Sandbanks in close proximity, you feel a sense of both town life, as well as the the natural beauty of the nearby beach. Be sure to visit town! Grab a coffee at Citizen Frances, a delicious meal at Darlings, and shop the Bloomfield main street. We're about a 10 minute drive from Sandbanks Dunes beach.

Getting Around:
A car is essential for getting around the area and exploring all that it has to offer

We offer a provincial parks parking pass for May 1st through October 31st.

We loved our stay at Field of Dreams. The place was spotless, and had anything you could ever need - from all the kitchen supplies to cook full meals, to every kind of entertainment possible. Overall it was a gorgeous, peaceful and tranquile location and communication with our hosts was seamless, as they went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. Would recommend to anyone who needs a lovely getaway!

A gorgeous retreat located in the middle of nowhere but somehow in the middle of everything! It is peaceful, quiet, secluded and everything (restaurants, towns, wineries, distilleries) are all very close by! We had a wonderful stay at the Field of Dreams. So much space for all four of us. Loved the full house design. The BEST stocked kitchen I have ever experienced! Beds are comfy and the place is spotlessly clean! Unfortunately (although a reason I picked this location) we did not use the outdoor fire pit or sauna. Had a small problem with wifi but Parker was available to assist immediately thru the app and thru a phone call (when the app no longer was usable). I would definitely consider the Field of Dreams for any return visit to PEC!! Thank you Parker

The property was very good. The internet was very sketchy but understandable as it is a rural area. The water is a bit stinky but also because of the rural location. The brita in the fridge was awesome.Overall I would recommend this property.

Charming house with all the necessities and more, and in the perfect location to enjoy all PEC has to offer. We spent 10 days with my husband, daughter (2.5) and dog, and it was beyond our expectations, including in terms of child-friendliness. Communication with Parker was easy and he was quite responsive. We will definitely be back!

Amazing place with wild rabbits and chipmunks running about. It is close to sandbanks beach and with a great view out the back over the fields with the sunset. The kitchen was stocked full of everything you could need and with sharp knives.

Wonderful cottage

Everything was exactly as stated and the upstairs bathroom looked even better than the picture (and does include a shower bathtub combination). It was easy to follow Parker's directions as to how to get into the property and where to find the Ontario Parks parking pass. The rental has a lovely open concept feel and has a ton of natural light upstairs. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed our stay very much.

Awesome Trip

Had an amazing stay with our friends and dogs. House was clean and location was great! Short drive to picton and wineries. Host was extremely kind and quick to respond. Big back yard gave our dogs plenty of space to run around. Will definitely be staying here next year when we come back for another wine tour!

My friends and I had an amazing time at Field of Dreams. It was quiet, quaint, stylish, and clean. Lots of space. Owner responded quickly if you have any questions which was lovely. We will definitely be coming back next year. Lovely sauna and firepit in the backyard. Close the wineries, shops, and restaurants. 10 minutes the the main part of town. But 3 houses down is a wonderful store called The Local with stuff from all local shops in the county. Lots of nice stuff in there. Thank you for a wonderful relaxing weekend getaway.
