The Story Behind the Name:
Right outside the cabin stands a tree with a natural heart-shaped scar on its trunk—a little gift from nature that immediately captured our hearts. One day, while we were dreaming up a name, our daughter heard us talking about “the heart tree” and said, “What about Heartwood Hideaway?” And just like that, the name stuck. It’s a symbol of love, nature, and the quiet magic this place holds.
