It’s location is superbly situated for those wishing to explore the South Lake District, Yorkshire Dales & Lancashire. However, on the doorstep there are some incredible walks and lovely cafes & town’s worth a visit! Close by is the village Scorton, with a wonderful 3 mile walk around Nicky Nook show casing views of the Forest of Bowland, Heysham & Morecambe. This walk ends by two very well-known cafes, The Apple Store & The Barn. Both are worth a visit during your time here!
