My recent visit to Forest Villas Hotel was outstandingly comfortable. Following recent upgrades and renovation under new management the hotel has returned to its original delightful place to stay. Staff is gracious, the facility is very clean and the beds most comfortable. The rooms are quiet for a good nights sleep and the breakfast good. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a pleasant and atmospheric visit to Prescott, AZ
My husband and I stayed here on our anniversary but had a terrible experience. The owners reached out to us to seek a second chance to change our opinion. We were offered 3 choices: 1) a full refund; 2) a complimentary stay in one of the Executive Suites with a mountain view; 3) A round of golf for two at a local resort golf course. We elected #1 because we don't live near the area and I do not know how to golf and am disabled so cannot walk a golf course. Based on current reviews I would believe the hotel owners have made great strides to update the property and put in place staff that reflect their philosophy. Based on these observations I eould recommend giving this establish a try. Plus, They serve the best complimentary breakfast I've ever seen! Enjoy!
We had such a lovely stay, the hotel was beautiful & the staff was so nice throughout our whole stay. There were fresh cookies put out when we arrived and there was a coffee & tea bar that was always fully stocked, which I loved. The bed was super comfortable & I will definitely return
This was our first stay at Forest hills, but we will be back. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were a little small but clean. We stayed in a dog-friendly room. The dog walk is complete with bags. Good hot and cold breakfast included.
Our positive experience began on the phone before we even got to Prescott. I had made a booking on line, but somehow the dates did not come out right. I called Forrest Villas and received gracious help to correct my problem. Upon arriving, I was pleased with the outside appearance and then going into the lobby I found the hotel to be beautiful. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating for game playing, chatting, reading, or just plain relaxing. The desk help during check in time was helpful and pleasant. The night crew even signed and delivered a birthday card for my husband. The views are lovely and we even saw wild javalina while in the Jacuzzi. We were glad there was a fence between us! Our room was basic, yet clean. We figure that we do not spend a lot of time in the room, so having a very basic room was fine. We will stay in this hotel again.
The grounds and the Hotel are Beautiful. The staff is so kind and helpful. We were there for a soccer tournament and they were patient and gracious with our children. They had the best breakfast ever. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!!!
The hotel was very nice and the staff was very friendly. A gentleman named Perry took the time to ask us about our trip and recommend sights to see along the way. He even suggested the order in which we schedule or trip to maximize our sight seeing time. Our only regret was that we only scheduled one night to stay in Prescott, it was by far the best hotel we stayed at during our trip. Thank You!
We were visiting friends in Prescott, so we only stayed one night. I found the staff very friendly, accommodating, and attentive, and the kids loved the waffles for breakfast. The lobby is a trip; there is a piano, two huge glittery chandeliers, and there are loads of cozy seats and tables to hang out by the fire place. There’s also a water and coffee/tea station with yummy cookies available. The pool was open and the kids all had a great time swimming and hanging out in the hot tub. The pool towels were more plush than most hotels, and there were several tables and lounge chairs that afforded shade or sun, depending. There is also a lounge area outside with a gas-powered fire pit. We had the standard double queen, facing the highway. (We needed a dog-friendly room.) It was small for four of us, but for one night it was fine. I liked that there was a small balcony in every room. It wasn’t loud at night despite facing the street. It was an adequately clean room, and we appreciated the small fridge. The water pressure in the shower was low, as was the drain. I let the staff know at checkout, and they were gracious. Dog-wise, there is a dog relief path and area outside, complete with waste receptacle and bags. Overall, it’s a great deal for a stay.
Upon entering the hotel drive you know this isn't the Holiday Express. Everything is a little over done- sort of "villa like". The lobby in grand and open. The rooms are clean, a little dated but adequate. The breakfast was also adequate-as was the staff. I did not find them to be very friendly. We had one room not facing the highway and one that was; the one facing the road was extremely noisy all night and the other was noisy when we opened the baloney door. Water pressure was terrible, could hardly get the shower to start. Price was right.
