We enjoyed this great place among the beautiful Prescott green trees. We stayed in a recently renovated room; casual elegance that affords comfort and serenity. It was wonderfully clean and very well priced. This is a loved, cared for and nicely maintained property. The owners/managers were welcoming, helpful and friendly. We recommend this property highly. Thank you, Ted and Christine.
I've stayed here 3 times now. 2 weeks in October 2017, 3 weeks in December 2017 and the whole month of January 2018, while being in the process of relocating to Prescott. I LOVE this place. It's quiet. The staff is awesome. Close to downtown, even walk-able. The owner is a really nice guy. He goes out of his way to be accommodating. Friendly, conversational. Constantly working on improving each unit. Great value !!
My wife I and decided to run up to Prescott for the weekend for our anniversary. This place worked out perfect for us. Pros: 1. They had the best price going in town. 2. It was one of the few locations where you could actually wake up in the “pines”/trees. 3. It was just outside of town by maybe 1-1.5miles. So a quick cab/uber ride over to Whiskey row and restaurants 4. Our room had recently been renovated with all new everything. Beds, sheets, tile, paint, sink, all furniture, bathroom. The whole works. 5. The front desk guy Dave was super nice and accommodating. Guessing he must be the owner. 6. Location right near heart of Downtown so quick access to all of the near by lakes and hiking trails. We visited a few of the lakes Cons: None that we can think of. At this price point, and for as high as quality of a room. You can’t go wrong. We frequently visit Prescott, so looking forward to seeing the hidden gem evolve & grow. Dave told us they had recently completed their 15the full room renovation in the last year. They were on track to have all rooms fully renovated at the entire property. This place is a hidden gem! Along with the deluxe rooms, they also have Kitchenettes!!! We will likely stay in a kitchenette next time to save even more cash and be able to cook meals inside our room. Super laid back place. Friendly and accommodating staff.
My daughter and I came from New York to visit with family. Our trip was more enjoyable because where we stayed. The new owner was very accommodating to our needs and wanted to make sure we were comfortable. There is a continental breakfast for the guests in the morning and location is close to shops and restaurants. Would highly recommend. Thanks for a wonderful stay!
Traveled cross country and this was exactly what I was looking for. It's surrounded by pines and mountains which make for a beautiful view. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Recently under new ownership and they are in the process of renovating all rooms to make them even nicer. Rooms were extremely clean and it was just a short drive to town, which was awesome because there was always something going on there.
Recent new ownership. The place is being upgraded and is looking great. Great pricing, plenty of parking and a mile from the center of town. Free coffee and donuts in the morning, A clean pool and relaxed pace. Good for longer stays with many units having kitchenettes. Fastest WIFI in town.
The stuff in the motel were rude and so not nice to us. We had an awful time there. The motel is not close to anything and we needed to take taxis all the time. The room was small and the place looks scary. Dont go there.
Rooms were clean and tidy, Loved the electric fireplace, very cozy. The staff was OUTSTANDING! Friendly, personable and went above and beyond to be helpful. When our rental car broke down, Nikki at the front desk researched shuttles knowing that we needed to get to Phoenix for an early flight home the next morning, then arranged transport for us. Met the new owner, David, who shared his plans for renovating the Inn. Would definitely stay here again.
I stayed at the Budget Host for two days and found the owners and staff to be very pleasant. The rooms could use some updating but were very clean and comfortable. There close proximity to Safeway food store and downtown Prescott was very convenient. I would stay again.
I am a traveling journeyman lineman and stay in hotels every week for approximately 45 weeks a year and this is BY FAR the WORST HOTEL that I have stayed in the 20 years of working on the road. The refrigerator didn't work and heater didn't throw heat, just air. I requested a different room and still nothing worked right. I checked out four days early and went to different hotel. I suggest NOBODY stays here... the owners were rather rude when I complained about the refrigerator and heater situation... My suggestion to anyone is to find a different place to stay.
