The room I had was massive! You do need to put a card in the slot to make sure the air-con stays on though otherwise it gets very warm and stuffy. Very clean and modern décor. Shower had excellent pressure. There were too many lights in the room that you had no control over - smoke alarm flashing red light, flashing green lights from the Wi-Fi, flashing light in the air-con vent! Breakfast was a good selection of usual cold meats and cheese, bread, hard boiled eggs and juices, cereals etc. There is an excellent restaurant about a five minute walk away called Miami - fantastic seafood risotto! Highly recommended. I didn't get a chance to explore as we only used the hotel as a base for a bus tour - there is a large supermarket not too far away though. Free Wi-Fi worked well.
First impressions count Wall Art people! When I checked in was met by a very rude lady who seemed to make out that everything was too much trouble. However all other staff now seem friendly and courteous. But that first impression really stuck with me. My room is OK, it is large, cleanish and functional. Room not serviced on first night of stay which seemed a bit odd. Not sure I would stay here again unless really needed to.
This is our second stay in this great hotel. Nice staff, great breakfast and clean comfortable rooms. Well located for the railway station only 10 minutes away on foot. There are plenty of nice restaurants nearby.
This hotel is easily accessible from the A11 highway, only about 15-20 minutes drive from the airport without traffic. Upon check in, the lobby is located in the lower level, you would have to walk down the steps! They are limited in English but they can understand you without a question! Since I have a rental, i was able to park the car in the garage. I had breakfast included with my stay, and the breakfast was delicious! The room was adequate size, shampoo and shower bottle, no tooth brush and tooth paste. The bed was not firm at all. The lighting had issues but you can still have an adequate night of sleep. There is a construction site right behind the hotel, it gets noisy around 8AM. The room does not have carpet and it's all wood floor. There's a long table with chairs. The shower head wasn't really clean but it's still okay. If I would have to go back, I would because it is affordable. But I would also love to check out other hotels too. The staff are very friendly, the maids might need to pay more attention to the smaller details though.
On looking at photos online, this hotel was one I was not really excited about staying at. I was surprised when I arrived that it was so clean and nice. I really liked my room, lots of space to unpack and nice bathroom (although the shower bottom leaked into the actual bathroom). I would stay again.
Stayed here on the way to Florence with a tour. Rooms were spacious and clean. Hotel itself seemed cramped and the eating accommodations were in a cramped space in the basement. Reception area was in the lower level which seemed weird to me.
We stayed during our Thomascook European tour. We have booked two rooms, one with infant and another for my parents. My parents got a single room, very small and low lighting. Even there was no mirror in any room apart from in toilets. A CRT television with very few channels and even they are displayed in monochrome color. Whereas we got an apartment with double bedroom and attached kitchen. Very big rooms and very spacious, yet the furniture is lower quality.
Between a service apartment and hotel, property looks relatively new and located in the city centre of Prato, about a 30-min drive from Florence. It's also near the central train station in Prato and about a 50-min ride to the Duomo in Florence. And like most of the hotels in this region, contemporary artworks are displayed throughout the property (some are even available for purchase if you so fancy.) On arrival at carpark level, you need to walk down a short flight of steps to the reception/check-in counter. If you have heavy bags, you may press the buzzer to have them open the security door to leave your luggage on the ground/carpark level before you head down to check-in. The dining halls and cafe/bar are also located on the reception level. Rooms are large and breakfast is typical of the continent, with cold meats and breads but good Italian espresso. Overall, if you have your own transport and looking for a no-frills overnight stay, this would suit you.
excellent spacious rooms, comfortable and cosy, nicely located, good helping staff, the hotel has everything to make your stay comfortable, recommended for stay with family. the hotel has two towers, i believe, the tower a has better rooms.
We stayed in this hotel during a Trafalgar tour. This hotel is located in Prato outside of Florence. We were a little nervous about staying here, as our tour guide told us that another travel guide had had her bag stolen from this hotel during the previous week. She repeated her usual warning to keep an eye on our belongings more vehemently than usual so I was worried that this was a sketchy hotel in a sketchy part of town. Our room was very spacious- the biggest of any hotel during our two week stay in Italy. The room had two twin beds and a large sitting area with a table. The are very clean and spare (which I like), and are decorated in a modern style. They have wooden (or wooden laminate) floors, not carpet, which I also liked. The doors to the rooms are like a vault. (This added to our feeling like maybe things were a little sketchy, but I did feel like no one was going to get in through that door.) The breakfast area was small, but adequate.
