The hotel was fantastic! So handy to the Number 23 tram which takes you very close to the main center of Prague, and also up to the castle. The breakfast (included in our stay) was absolutely terrific and we could not fault it - they even have an omelet station! Friendly staff, lovely spacious rooms and comfy beds. 10/10 would recommend!

Check-in was genuinely unpleasant. The receptionist spoke very broken English, and when we didn’t understand him the first two times, he raised his voice and got visibly annoyed with us — for asking him to repeat himself. Apart from that, the hotel itself was OK. But starting your stay by being yelled at by staff completely ruined the experience. It’s hard to enjoy a place when that’s your welcome.

La Palais Hotel Prague is a beautiful hotel outside of the tourist center. When we first entered the room, it was yellow and full of light, we felt very comfortable. The whole hotel is elegant. The breakfast was very good. We needed to take public transportation to reach the historical center and it was easy.
