Amazing location, very courteous and attentive staff, impeccable upkeep.

It takes a few minutes to go to the riverside which made us just in time to catch the river cruise.

The location of the hotel is great! It is nearby the Old Town, Old Town Square, Shops and the River.

The Intercontinental was a great hotel. The facade is a little dated, as is the carpeting, but it was an EXCELLENT location, great service and very friendly people. Great value for money.

Very good location: Walking distance to the Carlos Bridge, the Astronomical Clock and the best of Prague. Nice people, great deal.

Hotel staff were not super friendly, however they were very nice and helpful when we asked them questions. The location, and the amenities at this hotel could not be beat. I would not only stay here again but highly recommend it. A nice place after a long day can't be beat.

Stayed here for two nights. The hotel was nothing spectacular for a 5 star. However its location can't be beat especially for the price. The details: good water pressure; larger in-room safe (can fit a backpack); expensive in-room internet but free wifi in the lobby; no free bottled water; airport limo service for 750CZK (vs ~600CZK for a taxi); good heating in december.

Hotel in fantastic location in the Old Town. Building looks like dated, but inside rooms are great. Had an fantastic bed with quality sheets. Overall, I have the say the service was so-so. The employees seem quite rude at times, so I think that is something they can improve on... customer service and knowing how to work with people. Overall, I would stay there again.

The hotel is elegant, very clean and very well located for sightseeing Prague. The beds were divine and the spa and pool and facilities were beautiful. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a wide array of international foods and healthy eating choices. I was travelling with a group of 5 other women and we all felt safe and secure in the hotel and the surrounding area, even walking at night.

The location of the hotel was great. It's close to everything. The food was mediocore. The staff was super unfriendly and has not been accomodating.

The hotel was excellent as well as the service. The location was superb - LOVE THE EXPERIENCE!

All the additional services that you want at this hotel will be very expensive. Very expensive. But, if you stick to your package and don't use the extras it is great. Internet use was $400 a week. A continental breakfast was $70. There are so many great places to eat across the street from the hotel that it doesn't matter what the hotel charges. I had to go out looking for free internet which is everywhere, but too inconvenient. The location is great. Everyone I met complained about loud drunks outside their hotels all night in the city center. I slept like a baby. The concierge will babysit you and take care of every little thing that you need.

This hotel was first rate. Well run, excellent service, great breakfast and location can't be beat. The rooms are spacious, bathrooms are deluxe.

This hotel is centrally located. Within walking distance of everything. Concierge staff where excellent. The hotel is right on the river and 4 blocks from Old Town Square. And for European standards the room was large.

The hotel was lovely, and in a perfect spot for visting ALL of prague - it was in old town, a walk across the brige to Lesser Town, and just a couple of blocks to the metro and buses. It is not comparable thought to an American 5 * hotel. There were no ammenities without having to pay exorbitant prices (coke in the mini-bar was $10, etc. and the TV was basically useless.) I'd recommed the hotel, but just don't think you're getting 5*.

The conciers was a huge help with everything from train routs to a last minute weekend trip to Rome. Prague is the cleanest most English speaking city in Europe. The churches all have afternoon music from beautiful organ music playing Bach to metro sorprano singing Wagner don't pre plan to much because u will want to be flexible.

very good hote, excelent location

Everything was extra internet, breakfast ... very expensive for Prague you can find better and cheaper

The staff was excellent. The rooms were bigger than I expected and had everything you need. The fitness center is awesome. The hotel location made it easy to walk to most areas in Prague. I would recommend this hotel

As a woman traveling alone, I was very, very happy with this hotel. I am a budget traveler, but was able to get a great hotel/airfare package through this site. The hotel is conveniently located near the Old Town Square and the other major attractions are within walking distance (the castle is a bit of a hike). The English-speaking staff was friendly and accommodating. I had several nice meals in the hotel cafe where they offer 1 hour of free wifi with the purchase of a drink or a meal (otherwise you are charged $20 an hour or $40 a day for access in your room). I booked tours to outlying areas through the hotel concierge. (One tiny complaint, the concierge failed to mention that while the tour company provides hotel pickup, they may not bring you back.) Overall, this was an outstanding trip made very comfortable by this full-service hotel. Highly recommended.
