The hotel room was spacious and clean. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel restaurant offered a great selection of food and the breakfast gave us a great start to the day! The hotel is ideally situated for catching the ferry to the islands or visiting the Fairy Glen or Old Man of Storr. Enjoyed a fantastic break.

Leave plenty of time to eat.

Comfortable hotel just out of town though quite a walk up a hill. Room was large and comfortable. Meals were slow in coming after ordering. The second morning we had a days travel ahead of us and thought we’d get to breakfast 10 minutes early but were not allowed to order until 8.00. We were told there was only 1 cook on but could see things were VERY slow so ended up only ordering scrambled eggs thinking it would be quick - still very slow.

Lovely stay on the coast

My partner and I had a great night at the Uig hotel on our tour of Scotland. They called ahead to make sure we were set for dinner, offered tons of great suggestions for exploring the area and was the best host I've interacted with in a while. Marie was great to work with! Would love to come here again and spend more time.

We had a lovely stay at the Uig Hotel! The rooms were clean, cozy, comfortable and had amazing views! The staff were all kind and courteous. The food was incredible!!! As good as any Michelin star restaurant! Well done Uig Hotel!! You made our stay on Skye the highlight of our long journey.

I read good things about this excellent hotel, and I'm glad we stayed there, the receptionist / manager is Elena, and she is very friendly, smart, and enjoyable to talk with. Location is very nice, and it's quiet. Beautiful views over the ocean, so be sure to spend a bit extra and get a room with an ocean view. The nearby golf course is really a pretty and challenging but fun course, so check that out too. Thank you ! J and D

The hotel is overpriced for the condition of the room. The bed was comfortable, but some pieces of the furniture were covered with paper that was peeling off. The side panel of the tub was loose and caving in. The view from my room window was of the hotel dumpster which was not hidden from sight. The hotel decor was basic and outdated. The highlight of my stay was the food at the hotel restaurant. I highly recommend the mussels which were cooked perfectly and excellent. The fish and chips was also very good.
