We booked this hotel knowing it was a bit out of town so be aware takes about 20 minutes to get to the centre. That doesn't take away how lovely, efficient and helpful the staff are at the hotel, extremely welcoming. We stayed 4 nights, the breakfast was good but is limited with its options of hot food so it can get a bit boring. We didn't have dinner at the hotel but we did get room service one evening when we were feeling particularly lazy after a very long day of walking around. It was okay nothing special but did the job. All in all it was a good hotel, and we did have a fabulous time.
The hotel is well decorated, is in a central area, close to restaurants, pharmacy and etc. The room is large enough to have 2 adults and 2 child comfortable. The decoration is kids friendly and the breakfast is very good. There is a parking lot, but not a gym.
We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. There are two car parking areas and we always got a space. The breakfast is wonderful and even includes some sparkling wine and fresh natas, the staff is extremely helpful and caring, the rooms comfortable with all amenities and the bus departs opposite every few minutes, a taxi into town is quick too. but there are also a few good restaurants around. Would definitely return.
We stayed 3 nights, and was told that the parking place can not be guaranteed. Also the parking area is very small and extremely difficult to get in and out if you have a full size car. It is far away from the city centre, but around the hotel has a nice seafood restaurants. The room is clean, comfortable bed, also the breakfast is good.
The hotel is amazing. Very clean with huge rooms. The breakfast is delicious and with a big variety of breads, fruits and other stuff. The staff is great!! Everybody here is very nice and so willing to help. I would DEFINITELY recommend.
This is a great hotel, everything you can expect from a 4 star. The room is big and clean, there are nice amenities, the bed is huge. Bedding and towels were also really clean and soft. There is a mini bar in the room, with water, sodas and beer, and there are a lot of options for room service too. One thing is if you are really hungry, it might take a while to order the food. There's only one person to answer the prone and prepare the dishes, but for me it wasn't a problem, we waited and the food was great. I was traveling with a 1 yo baby, they included a baby bed for free, and for the first time in a hotel (at least for me) there was a baby towel available for her :) We stayed at the 11th floor, and the view was also really good! Staff was really kind with everything we needed. I would definitely stay there again.
We stayed one night. The hotel was OK and the breakfast was very good. It was adequate for our needs, but nothing spectacular. If you wanted to stay as a tourist for a longer period of time, I would stay in closer to the city centre.
Overall good experience, but I would prefer to stay closer to the city center next time. The sound proofing needs some attention. The rooms are clean and the staff were very helpful and friendly. I didn't care much about the breakfast setup.
We spent two weeks at the hotel and were extremely happy. The hotel is centrally located to the University of Porto, malls and eateries. The buffet breakfast catered for our dietary requirements. The rooms are comfortable and very clean. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The service from the concierge, Ana, was outstanding. I highly recommend the hotel.
Stayed 6 nights at the back end of September. We arrived on a Friday night and was checked in within 5 minutes. Our room was on the top floor, floor 10. We were west facing and because of our elevation we could see the Atlantic and dome beautiful sunsets. The bedroom was of a good size and very comfortable. There was a safe and the Wi-fi was free and good speed. There was an electronic safe and a mini bar in the room. The bathroom was also of a good size and the shower was great. The room was kept clean by housekeeping. There was only a few hangers. For a long weekend that was ok however for a longer period not enough. I anticipated that so we brought a few of our own. There are 2 lifts and only on one occasion did we suffer a delay in traveling down for breakfast. The breakfast room is well decorated and the staff work hard to clear away and reset the tables. The selection was good scrambled egg, bacon, quiche, sausage on the jot. Fresh fruit constantly replenished.Breads ,cheese ,ham croissants ,pastries and a special pastry each day for guests to try. One coffee machine and the popular Americano was in a urn to release the pressure on the one machine. Directly outside of the restaurant there was a pod machine. The tables are close together but the staff do try to make your space personal. The hotel is a 20 minute walk to the Clerigos area and another 10 to the cathedral 15 to the quayside. You can get a bus across the road that will take you in to the centre. Or you can walk to Classica Mussica metro which will take you 10 minutes from the hotel. We had a 48 hour hop on hop off open top bus (2routes)and one of the routes the stop is only 5-10 minutes walk away the other is 15-20 minutes other than that we walked it. I certainly would recommend the hotel but if you prefer to step out and be in the thick of things it's not for you.
