Great stay overall! I really enjoyed my time here. The location is convenient—you can even leave your luggage just 5 minutes away at another hotel on the same street if you depart later. The surroundings are lovely, with a pretty panaderia just outside, which made the experience even more enjoyable. All in all, it was a fantastic location.

Very clean apartment with everything you need in case you want to cook Bolhao market just across the road, we visited every morning for breakfast. We stayed in an apartment facing back garden so no noise. Staff very communicative via WhatsApp Would have no hesitation to recommended this area and planning to stay here again on my next visit.

A great property to be able to explore Porto. Very central and just across from the mercado Balboa. Great sized room with kitchen, bathroom with nice big shower, A/C and balcony views.

Great apartment, directly opposite the market which is so fabulous to visit. The apartment is very clean and more spacious that I’d expected. We are a family of 2 adults and 2 teens. The teens shared the comfortable sofa bed and we had enough room in the kitchen area for all our luggage and belongings. For a couple this would be a lovely apartment and for a family it was a good option and very affordable. Perfect location too

The property is a bit misleading. They advertise “soundproof” rooms, but you can clearly hear conversations from neighboring rooms, at night when someone walks the staircase you will wake up, and god forbid someone is above you- it sounded like elephants practicing shuttle runs from 2am-3am. It’s an apartment so I wouldn’t expect it to be noise-less, but since they shamelessly advertised “soundproof” rooms, I didn’t quite expect that much difficulty sleeping. The couch in the common area- forget about it. You might as well bring in some rocks from outside to sit on instead. The positive aspects of the apartment, however, is its great location and cleanliness.

This was a nice property in a great area. We were able to walk to most places. There were a lot of dining options although mostly touristy. Even though it was a busy area, it was very quiet at night. There was an opening in the wall between living and dining room so if one party was up earlier, difficult to reduce noise, but that was not much of an issue for us. Staff were very receptive and brought us what we needed. I think the only thing we were missing were some t-towels. That would have been nice. Counter space is very limited but we didn't end up eating there much or preparing meals so also not an issue for us.

The worst issue was the sofa bed, which did not work very well as a sofa and I doubt it works very well as a bed either the apartment was nice, but I probably wouldn’t choose it again for a long stay

The communication and the customer service was great. At night, the room was bright, the window shades did not block out enough light. The neighborhood is very noisy - traffic, loud people - till all hours of the night. Hard to sleep. The property was clean and there was lots of space. We also had a great view. If you are sensitive to fragrances, this would be a challenging location.

Very nice small apartment facing Bolhao market. Metro stations just a few steps from the apartment. Well equipped kitchen. Very clean. You can drop your luggage at their sister apartment complex which was just few meters away. I really enjoyed my stay at this Bolhao apartment.

The apartment was very clean and cozy. The staff was quick to respond and solve any issues. Location was excellent as we were literally in the heart of Bolhão area, right across from a metro station entrance. Light sleepers beware though, the market starts stirring early in the mornings and the foot/traffic below doesn't stop until very late.

A great Porto stay!

Incredible stay in this wonderful apartment! Very conveniently located for the hub of Porto, and only a 15ish minute walk down to the river. The blackout shutters were brilliant, and although next to the very busy Bolhao market, it was quiet enabling a great sleep. 10/10 would recommend staying here!

Disappointing

The apartment was quite grim and not welcoming. The only view we had, was of an old car park and run down derelict buildings. Our room was on the top floor after 4 flights of stairs with no lift. This was okay for us, as we are fit and able but would not be suitable for anyone less able or elderly. The hanging space for clothes was so high, my husband who is 6ft 2 could hardly reach to hang our clothes. There were no wardrobes as such, just cupboards. The same could be said of the height of the cupboards in the kitchen, so high we couldn't reach the cups/bowls etc. There is no safe in the room for valuables etc. On the upside, the reception team (in another building) were excellent.

Comfortable 3-night stay Great communication with the property. We were warmly welcomed, check-in was a breeze and our apartment was impeccably clean! Easy to walk everywhere. Enjoyed the Bolhoa market across the street. A bit loud at night, but that's the area and it didn't last long.

Communication with the team was brilliant. Our travel plans had been affected and the team could't have been more accomadating with us needing to change our expected arrival time on the day, they just asked we kept them updated thoughout the day. The accomadation was in a brilliant area and in good condition and although it was on a busy street and close to lots of shops and restaurant's you couldnt hear any noise from the street in the apartment. Recommendations provided on our arrival were great too and we loved being across from the food market. We would stay again! Porto is a beautiful and special place to visit....enjoy!
