The property is located in the new town of Portimao, only a short journey to everything else on offer in the region, including a beautiful and large sea-front, and the old town of Portimão itself, which has a wide range of shopping opportunities including the very modern shopping centre – Aqua just next door from the apartment.
Portimao is a sailor’s delight, thanks to its calm waters and beautiful conditions. Plenty of elite international competitions happen here, but you don’t have to be a professional to set sail. Cruising the coast on the double-masted Santa Bernarda pirate ship is a family favorite. On dry land, you can wander the lovely Alvor boardwalk, enjoy a succulent seafood meal or zip around the go-kart track at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve which is just on the other side of the A22 motorway. You can try there your hand at go kart racing, or travel east for 10 kilometers and visit Carvoeiro with this traditional Portuguese cove beach and multitude of shops and bars, or on the western side from portimao sample the more traditional side of Portuguese sea-side life in the old city of Lagos, with its modern Marina and traditional old town.

The apartment:
