This place has seen better days. A cracked sink, loose toilet seat, leaky and dirty shower broken chair old bed say it but it was cheap

We booked this as budget accommodation to visit the University of Bristol, without much expectation. On arrival we were hugely impressed - staff very helpful and friendly and lots of touches I wouldn't necessarily have expected at the price, e.g. 24 hr reception, bar, essentials shop, in addition to which there are 24hr Starbucks and Subway if you arrive at unsocial hours and are hungry. The room was much as you would expect - pretty basic but with everything we needed - TV (freeview), tea tray and 4 comfy beds. Basic toiletries (shampoo & body wash) were also provided. Amazing value for money and surprisingly quiet given the fact it is right on the motorway. Would highly recommend!

Very good situation near the motorway and easy to go to Bristol centre. Very quiet room. To recommend

We often stay here when visiting Bristol, convenient location just off M5 motorway. Last time we stayed we were in room 19 which is one of the non upgraded rooms (but dog friendly on ground floor). Then there was no hairdryer fitted and we reported it and provided with a spare one. A month later we return, end up in room 19 again and still no hairdryer. This time also tv remote broken but eventually another found (replacement held together with sellotape)! Asked for another pillow (provided with 3 flat lifeless pillows) and told "sorry no spares". Disappointing stay this time.

This is a budget hotel situated in a service station on the M5 on the outskirts of Bristol. It's basic, but everything is clean and it does the job. This is the sort of place to stay to break up a longer journey. It makes a lot of sense to stay on the motorway, since everything you need is available, even if it is at service station prices. The room was clean, TV worked, bathroom did everything it was meant to. But it's not luxury, nor is it meant to be. There are a couple of plug sockets (British type) to connect your devices to. Wifi is free and at least as fast as a regular domestic connection. Shower head is fixed, so a little hard to use, but you'll get an okay shower from it. Hairdryer provided and reasonably powerful, but you might want to bring your own if you have long hair. There is no safe in the room, nor ironing facilities. Reception might be able to provide the latter, but I didn't ask. There is very little noise from the motorway, although I found the soundproofing between the rooms was a bit light. Continental breakfast provided on-site for a nominal fee. For a full English, you need to go to the main service station building.

Lovely place for rest after long day out. Comfortable and quiet area for night . To all families.

On arrival we were instructed to the location of our room. This was at the very end of the corridor situated on the ground floor. Whilst walking to our room their was no carpart on the corridor floor leading the whole way to the fire escape. This didn't seem much of an issue as once in the room we were happy with the standard for the two nights we would be staying. However this was a business trip so the next morning we left around 8am and returned about 4. On arrival back to our room we were unable to even get through the door due to power tools being left all over the corridor and tool boxes. It seemed every room was open having work done to it along the whole corridor apart from ours. We then had to listen to drilling until later in the evening and even early the next morning before we departed. The size of the hotel surprised me that this was the only room available for us to stay in ... Amongst a building site.

Ok, parking a nightmare, stuck by the lorries in the service area, moving to Devon loaded with cases, not convenient parking, signane not good from car park to Hotel, otherwise ok.

we booked for Cornwall and thought it would be good to stop off half way travelling down on the Wednesday night.. we booked in here for the night.. arrived at 23:45.. reception was manned by 2 guys who were quite pleasant and checked us in.. room was clean but basic.. did the job.. had a great nights sleep.. showered and set off on our journey the next day.. would recommend and will return when next visiting Cornwall..

Competitively priced hotel for stopover on the M5 , cheaper than the nearby Premier Inn and Travelodge. Friendly staff but rooms need updating. Good facilities at the services next door.
