Our room looked like a converted storage room, it was small with the bathroom up a set of stairs and no cabinet or even hooks to hang our clothes. It was located within feet of the road with plenty of road noise. The door was not weather sealed and you could see light completely around the edges. The property was fully booked so we could not change rooms.

The location and views from the water-facing rooms were great. Parking was easy. We loved being able to walk past the ferry dock to downtown. Room was clean, bed comfortable and bathroom well thought out. We didn’t mind the lack of room cleaning or breakfast in the hotel. Only issues were sounds from other people entering/exiting rooms, which was made worse by the gap/lack of weatherstripping under the door, and the uncomfortable interaction we witnessed between staff. (One staff member had made a mistake checking in a party shortly before we arrived, and the other staff person in back was complaining about the mistake. This made those of us checking in feel bad for the errant staff person and generally uncomfortable.)

From our bedroom and balcony we had a great view of the peninsula. We saw wildlife and the surrounding mountains Except for the balcony and windows, the room was immaculate. Nice, friendly staff.

We didn’t have white bath towels just mismatched gray and pink towels looked like old towels. Tv remote didn’t work was duct taped in the back of it so when we tried it at 8:00 at night we were already in pajamas with a baby and was told I had to come to front desk try a new one. Deck was not swept lots of debris all around the door and dirty glass deck.Front desk man upon arrival wasn’t too friendly.

Very disappointed

Our room was literally 20 feet from highway. The traffic noise was terrible. The door had a gap which did not help with the sound. They did not have a breakfast that they advertised. I would not stay here again

This is a perfect place to stay! Walking distance to downtown (10 minutes, maybe less) and very charming. The rooms were impeccably clean and nicely updated. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

When we checked in we discovered our room didn't have a view so we easily upgraded to a water view. If you stay here you need to have a water view. It is spectacular. We stayed in the Officer and a Gentleman Movie room. The room is very clean and upgraded.

A few issues...

The room had a strong smell of bleach as we entered. It was noted on a paper given to us at the front desk, that there was no complimentary breakfast and our room's deck was not painted as they had no time due to weather. It would have been great to know this ahead of time. We also had to ask for more pillows as they were not standard size, as the ones supplied were the smallest pillows I have ever used.
