It's an interesting place to stay for sure, love the vintage vibe however the neon beer signs in the windows at the restaurant kill that vibe a lot. I would definitely take the neon signs down. Not too expensive and close to downtown Portsend which is great!

A very quaint and charming place. However, because of its age there were a few little maintenance things that weren't up to what one finds in the newer hotels. Though I must say, the old section craftsmanship isn't something one sees anymore which added to its charm. Needless to say the local ghost did not visit us.

We had such a fun stay at Manresa Castle. Amber Dawn at the front desk was so friendly and shared all of the castles rich history with us, along with setting us up with taxi cab and restaurant suggestions and information. Our room was very clean and the bed was so comfortable also.

Nice that the 2 queen bed room we stayed in actually had 2 separate rooms (with a door in between). The location was close to downtown, so convenient. It would've been nice to have a continental breakfast included. The beds & pillows were too hard, so not a comfortable sleep.
