The Location - This modern apartment is located in 'The Shoal' and only one street back from popular Shoal Bay Beach and to many cafes, restaurants and boutique shops. Shoal Bay beach is a lovely pristine beach good for swimming and you can hire kayaks and paddle boards in the high season school holidays and at Easter. There are many cycle tracks leading to either Nelson Bay (3km's away) and to Fingal Bay (4km's away) Bike hire is available in Shoal Bay. There are also a selection of beautiful walking tracks in the Tomaree National Park and to the summit of Tomaree Mountain which offers spectacular views over Port Stephens. and the Bay.
The Apartment - Views can be captured from the very comfortable lounge and front deck, which is ideal for relaxing as well as the main bedroom. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need including a dishwasher and a dining table to enjoy your home cooked meals. The comfortable leather lounge is perfect for four accompanied with a Smart TV, free Wi-Fi, and DVD player. While the property faces in the direction to capture the north easterly breezes, there is also air conditioning throughout the property for your comfort and convenience. Throughout this unit, the coastal impression is maintained with a quality beach theme.
Bedroom one has a queen bed with air conditioning and mirrored built in wardrobe and bedroom two has a queen bed with air conditioned and built in wardrobe. The centrally located bathroom is equipped with shower, toilet and single hand basin and vanity and is very tastefully designed to enhance the unit. The internal laundry has a washing machine and clothes dryer.
This unit is easily accessed utilising the security system and lift, either from the ground floor car park or one of the front foyer entrances. There are definitely smoke alarms at this property.

The views were indeed excellent, even from the lounge room - helps that the unit is on the 4th floor. All the appliances are Smeg brand. Lounge / dining has air con' as do both bedrooms, greatly appreciated as our first 2 days were 36 C ! Beds are comfy, the surrounds of the units are generally quiet too 7 just behind the local shops, only 200 m to the beach !
One issue is parking area entry, there is a key pad which requires a number (we assumed it was the key tab number) it didn't work, thankfully a resident was leaving & showed me the electronic entry tab on the BACK of the box - there was NO instruction about it with the key set we received !
