Elevator did not work. We had my 79 y/o post stroke Mom along.

On arrival, maintenance told us the elevator was broken, but would soon be repaired. It was never repaired and managment refused to discuss it or work with us for any resolution. My Mom was stuck on the 2nd floor the entire trip, she could not climb the stairs to the public area, after a major struggle to get to the 2nd floor. No bathroom on first floor made it not an option for her. The house was not well cleaned and we had to wait for housekeeping to finish after check in time. Visible dirt/crums/debris under tables and furniture. We declined having them come back as they'd already delayed our entry and shown they couldn't clean well. The location is great, but we would definitely NOT choose this house or any other managed by this company in the future.

Perfect location plenty of room

This home has a TON of beds and space for families and friends. The kitchen was well stocked with all the things we needed to cook several meals. I couldn’t find a blender that’s the only thing I would add. The view from the balconies can’t be beat! The sunsets were incredible. The only things I would have to say negatively about this home was that the elevator stopped working on day 2. There were storms happening for over 36 hours and the power went out a couple of times. This seemed to trigger something and make it get stuck in between floors maybe? We should have reached out to the property manager in hindsight because our legs were all super sore by day 3. The roof leaked a on the main living area floor by day 2 of the rain as well. But besides those 2 things due to the rain it was a great rental!

It was everything we dreamed of.

This was a family gathering, probably my fathers last and this was an absolutely perfect week!! The house was beautiful, easy for the elders to get around, everything was perfectly clean and beautiful!!! We cannot thank you enough!!

Great house and location with one problem.

The house in the ocean to the left is littering the beach with dangerous concrete debris with sharp rebar sticking out and sharp rocks in the surf. One of my children cut themselves on the rocks. The house in the ocean should be condemned! This problem would keep us from returning.

Family vacation 2021

This was our first trip to Cape San Blas and we fell in love with the area. The house was very clean and the reservation and check in process with a breeze. Our group ranged in age from 4 to 84. There was plenty of space for family gatherings and if you wanted a little quiet time to yourself. The only issue we had was the washer needed to be leveled, you could hear it all through the house during the spin cycle and the beach had been refurbished and there was a huge cliff down to maneuver daily ( this was out of control of the owner). Would definitely recommend this house to future renters.

Beautiful views

The house and location was amazing. The property was not thoroughly cleaned and it was unfortunate because the house had so much potential but lack of cleaning crew was disturbing and we spent time our first day recleaning property. Due to Coronavirus we had a late check in to allow for extra cleaning time and the property looked virtually untouched in the cleaning department.

We have stayed on the cape numerous times and never had any issue. This house was to be THORUGHLY cleaned due to COVID. If this was COVID cleaning wonder what non covid cleaning would be. I cleaned for over an hour upon arrival in kitchen to feel comfortable. I also feel it should state it is a slightly obstructed view on the one side and the access to the beach is not right next door. The unit was a nice one, but could use some updates. The Cape is so amazing, it is just awesome in itself. However, I have stayed at cleaner and nicer homes for the price per week.

How I can help you

When weather is bad in winter the great room becomes a haven. Views of beach and gulf need to be better from this room. Lights under kitchen counters would be a big improvement

What a great home!

We loved this home. It was perfect for our needs. There was lots of room and the views were spectacular. It was very close to the beach. It's important to me that there is room for everyone to have room to sit on the deck together and there was plenty of room and plenty of nice furniture. The community pool was nice, though we only used it a couple of times. We had 9 people and there was room for a couple more. We will definitely want to stay there again!

Great House!

My family and I had a great time at your house. Love the elevator. And the closeness to the beach. And sitting on the balcony looking at the Gulf. A second bath towel would be nice since it takes the dryer so very long to dry towels. You might want to check the dryer vent where it goes outside. We usually had to run the dryer on the 60 min. cycle 3 times to get the towels dry. But overall, we LOVE the house. Glad it wasn't damaged too badly from the hurricane. This was our second time staying there and we love it!
