My husband and I spent two comfortable nights here. We had a ground floor room with parking in front. Our room was a good size and clean, though a bit worn. The bathroom seemed recently renovated and the shower had excellent water pressure. Beds were comfortable, free wifi was decent, air con unit was older but functional and basic kitchenette adequate. Reception staff were friendly and helpful, the location was quiet and a short walk to the main area of town or the beach.

Before booking, I stopped in to the desk to ask about wifi. The Hotels.com did not have it listed and I was expecting to speak with an overseas friend on WhatsApp. The older gentleman said no problem, so I booked. After check in, my room on the second floor had trouble connecting so I went down to inquire. Alan did all that he could to help me, but the other lady was extremely rude and acted as if I was a nuisance. (Remember that I spoke IN PERSON about WiFi before booking.) Well, it’s not life or death but my call got cut off a number of times and I couldn’t finish it. FYI - if your connection is important, keep this in mind. Otherwise, room was OK, dated, big enough, cheap feeling mediocre mattress, with balcony facing the side of another building 20 feet away. The shower was ok until it momentarily scalds without warning. No lift. There was a fridge, guest laundry, off street parking, small outdoor pool. Close enough to walk to businesses. Overall, unhappy enough with nasty lady to knock this down, also the WiFi issue which continued to be a problem. Oh, and MAYBE they’ll have the correct coins for the laundry. I am usually quite easy to please - check my other reviews.

On our way to the Central Coast we decided to stay at this hotel on the way down and on the way home. The staff was welcoming and the room we stayed in' the same one both times was very quiet and clean and comfortable. Plenty of room with balcony lounge table and chairs microwave crockery and toaster and kettle. The bathroom was very clean and I would recommend it to anyone. They even have a pool. From the hotel you can walk into Port and to Town beach.

Nice Motel, staff were friendly and helpful, our room which was nice but felt more like a cellar than motel because it was below street level. The bathroom was very tiny, if you were a large or tall person you would probably have the shower head in your face and also the sliding glass doors on the shower recess is only a small opening. Cleaning staff are very relaxed with the cleaning of the room, we don't feel that they clean our room the entire time that we stayed there as the hand basin and toilet did not appear clean. Wifi which is supposed to be 24 hours seems to go down at night around 8 pm and comes back on the next morning.

Great value for money, central location, quiet and nicely renovated old style motel. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back here in the future. Uncomplicated and relaxed, this motel offers facilities to cater for meals which is a godsend when travelling on a budget with teenagers! Clean and well facilitated, water is hot and service great.

A couple of bikers stayed here for the night All the box's ticked, friendly and helpful team. Nice and quiet not far from the Main Street and all the city restaurant scene. Not long since she's had a Reno we think. Would recommend no PROB's.

Stayed there one night, as a passing through trip. Staff friendly, easy and fast check in/out. We could drop of our baggage while checking out the town, after we checke out. The rooms are worn down, nothing fancy, but you have a bed to sleep in. Very close to town, but you can't hear eny noise. If you Come by bus to town, it is also in walking distance.

My husband and I stayed here for two nights during a festival in Port Macquarie. This is the second time we have stayed here and would highly recommend it. Great price, clean, roomy and close to everything. Would definitely stay again.

Booked two nights on our way south. Very overpriced for budget accommodation. The ensuite was in a cupboard.... The man at reception just wasn't happy to be there... Would never stay again considering the price charged for below standard accommodation.

Stay away from Port Aloha Motel!! Booked this room by accident, was meant to book East Port Motor Inn & only realised once booked it was the wrong one! Looked up previous reviews, though not flash rooms looked pleasant & safe enough for one night. Apparently East Port Motor Inn is very very nice so book instead. After a very long day & drive, rang to say I may be arriving a bit later than 9pm. The lady owner was not impressed & said that their office shuts at 9pm. I asked if she could leave the key & she said no. Only she can let us in, into our room - strange setup! Upon arrival, the lady owner was rude & completely made me feel uncomfortable. She questioned me, asking me where is my husband? Who else is with me? Telling me the room I booked only has one double & a sofa bed. What did she think I was having a party?? She could clearly see my son with me & I told her that this is completely not acceptable particularly after I already told her. I would happily have accepted a refund & gone elsewhere! The room was on the 3rd floor, no lifts. This needs to be added on their website as definitely not suitable for most people. Very old, mustard smelly dated room. More like 2 star or backpacker accomodation. Only bathroom cheaply renovated. No locks on bathroom door. Paper thin walls so can hear everything. Dirty dusty windows & corridor windows very dirty. Not good for those with asthma. My sons asthma began playing up immediately upon arrival. I would not recommend this Hotel to families, single people, elderly or those with physical/health conditions! Suitable for truckies only. Second night stayed at the Big Windmill in Coffs. It was $20 cheaper a night, was able to check into room at 10am, very friendly staff & SO much better room with a king bed & a king single. Both claim similar standard but the Big Windmill wins by miles!
