Old and dated and noisy. No sleep

I chose this hotel because of a rating above 8 on hotels.com. Definitely was disappointed. Hotel is dated and not very clean. Old carpet and stains on furniture in room. Hot tub was not working which is one of the main reasons closed doe repair. Upon looking at older reviews it’s been closed for months. After going to bed we were woke up by a group of young people slamming doors and yelling and having a party in the room next to ours. After waiting an hour we callled the front desk. They called the room and it got worse. The front desk then told us there was nothing they could do and they couldn’t even move our room since the hotel was sold out. The group of guys continued their loud party until well after 1am. I’m not happy with the lack of sleep. Also, The lack of hotel enforcing quiet hours. The breakfast in the morning wasn’t any good either. I take several trips a month and this was by far the worst experience I’ve had all year.

In over all, it was an excellent stay. One thing stood out above anything else, their breakfast, which was better than many restaurants. Keep it up!

I travel with my pup everywhere. I never care about any pup fee. But paying the 75 dollar fee this time meant I was downgraded to basically a human kennel. Under the guise of I will be closer to the dog walk area, I was placed on the first floor next to the back door. Not an issue, until I walked into the room. No real carpet, just and inside/outside floor covering. No padding, just glued directly to the concrete. The furniture was out of a garage sale, beat up and unkept. Sheet on the bed were old and worn. So old the elastic on the fitted sheet no longer gripped the matress. I never leave a bad review. I there is nothing nice to say i leave it alone. But the manager on duty continually lied on the idea I was put into a dog room. Said there was no such thing. I asked why no carpet, she replied that there must of been a maintenence issue that was unresolved. I told her I checked the room next to me during cleaning and it was the same. A dog room. Just outside my room there was carpet with padding, but not in mine. I paid for a king bed, was given a queen. I guess that is what dog rooms get. Now there was an area for my pup to do her business, but no grass, all lava rock. I invited the manager to walk on it barefooted, because my pup was. It is jagged and unsafe for pets. While this facility is pet friendly, be prepared to stay in a dog room. Not the room you reserved online. felt like i was punished for bringing my pup, and paid for that punishment.

Mediocre

I selected this hotel because of the price and its 4 star rating. But, the facility is very tired and worn. Regarding cleanliness, there were human hairs in multiple spots on the bathroom floor. Staff was great and breakfast buffet was very good.

Hilton shouldn’t advertise this as “Their Property

This property should be avoided at all costs. Old and dirty.Stayed the first night and the next morning door locks quit working. Went down twice trying to get in the room and was told they didn’t have us staying there as we were listed as no shows. At 4 pm check-in the day prior we were told our room wasn’t ready and didn’t know when it would be ready. After reloading our luggage… 5 minutes later…we were told they had a room. The room had a bad smell and furniture, carpet was dinged and dirty. Fridge freezer lid was broken and we couldn’t because it never showed us staying in that room? Confusing!There were gnats flying around food bar(health violation) Total disappointment in this particular property!

No working business center. Had to switch rooms because of malfunctioning toilet. Key cards had limited programming to the door. Only 1 key out of 4 worked. Had to email confidential doc to front desk for printing. Carpet stains. 1980 wall paper. Original Oreos elevator with metal slamming doors. Hilton should not have the name on the building until it is finished. Per the Hampton policy, I will be enforcing their satisfaction guarantee in a few days. Staff was the only bright spot here. Rates are way too high for this building.

Very nice and helpful staff at the reception desk. I unfortunately had to leave the property after one night, missing the second night of my stay due to a family emergency. I'm not sure how to go about getting a refund for the second night, which the Hampton Inn at Port Huron had approved at the time of my checking out. The information I read on line was not helpful to me regarding this.
