I do not understand this hotel. I do not understand how this is a hotel. The reception is rarely staffed. I was there three days. Someone did come to reception in person during working hours to provide a key to the safe. I was chided for not providing an imprint of my card, which was not possible. This is troublesome for security reasons. The hours reception was supposed to be open, the door was just unlocked and propped open. The rooms on the upper floor have windows that open only to the interior hall and walkway so these were essentially open. There is no lobby but a small area, which means also no bag storage if you are checking out. I suppose you could just keep the key and deny checking out, because there is no one there, but that is not something I could do. This is also troublesome because of the number of things you must get from reception: shampoo, soap, clean towels, the wifi password, and the key to the safe. And of course actually checking in to your room. But reception is mostly closed. If you call from the front door, someone will answer. Sometimes immediately, sometimes tenacity is the key here. No lobby also means there is no place to wait if you are meeting a tour bus or taxi. In theory they have a safe. If you would like to protect your passport and earrings it is a functional safe. Not so much for a iPad, laptop, or anything larger. It is large enough for phones. How can a safe be that small? It is indeed physically possible. The wifi, once available, is not good. The beds on on wheels. Why are the beds on wheels? So not only is there no option for any activity, you cannot lean against the fake headboard, which is stapled to the wall like in reality makeover TV. There is effectively no place to sit. It has the amuse bouche of pools. It is very small. There is a lovely view of walls which are painted black, and the back of the hotel. Also if you lay flat on your back, you can see the sky. It was less like a hotel and more like an AirBnB with a very busy host, like a host having some family problems who just cannot not deal with you right now. It is clean. It has a good location. There is electricity. There is water. There is wireless is some sense of the word, in that it exists, not that you will find it particularly useable.

We love coming to stay at the Mantra On the Inlet. The rooms are well designed, spacious and clean. We love the spa bath overlooking the bedroom and then out onto the balcony. the central location is perfect for visiting the local bars and restaurants and you can come and go all night long.

This hotel is a little bit dated, I noticed a lot of dust on the cane headboard and mentioned it to staff, who said thank for letting us know. It is in a great location, close to shops, the Sunday markets and restaurants.

no face to face service, room smelt musty, when cleaned they have not paid attention to detail, this room was OK for a overnight stay and has a great location, for such a beautiful location you would think there would be more interaction when speaking to other people they said there is no one ever there

Arrived before 8pm (flight delayed) had difficulty locating the entrance, finally found it but after walking some distance, door open and signs on desk advising reception is at another location, started walking to other location and called the number on the way to be advised we needed to go back and find the safe which was behind the door from the direction we originally came from, got key and ventured to room only to discover there were many stairs (husband has had knee surgery). Room was as pictured, good quality room, neat and tidy, not terribly big though, if you opened the window there were no screens and it was adjacent to the walking balcony to all rooms so not able to open window due to lack of privacy, probably wouldn't have mattered too much as there was no one around. Cleanliness of room ok, they do need to pay a little more attention to detail, found dirty marks on door frames and on the fronts of the bathroom vanity doors, also the tiles around the edge of the bathroom floor need a scrub, I cleaned one with some toilet paper and the dishwashing liquid they provide so you can wash up and that one tile was much cleaner. Did require pool towels but had to go to other hotel to collect as phone call was not returned. Did advise in advertising the room was not serviced so did have to go to Coles to obtain milk, sugar and tea bags as it was closer than the other hotel reception. Extra costs... needed $15 per day for Wi-Fi, bit outrageous so just used our own. Quiet - yes very, limited people and no staff. Great location for dining and evening walks. Not as secure as I would have thought but I suppose crime isn't an issue there!

When The booking was made it was asked that one booking be made on the lower floor but that did not happen. Love d the position it was great for what we had to do , we would stay again if we had a lower room

Nice and quiet stay, was very easy to check inn, rooms were lovely and spacious. will be definitely be returning the property again very soon. The view from our room was great, all over review of the property we couldn't complain about anything.

Good location. Check in was via phone and lock box. Room was set up per requests and a phone call was great. Cleanliness and toiletries were ok with the toiletries already opened and used. Great to have access to the mini kitchenette.

I spent only two nights in the hotel but really enjoyed it. It was a different experience to be in a hotel and do not see any staff my I did not need any assistance as everything was perfectly working.

Great location. I loved the spa and the room layout. Have stayed here a few times and would recommend it. Good value for money. Prepaid accommodation so no need to wait at reception upon arrival. Clean and tidy room and comfy bed!
