Great location and room layout

The bunk room was perfect! Great special awareness in the layout. Open concept kitchen, living room and dining was such a great use of space. The home is spotless, beautiful beach vibe and perfect location! Super quiet area and the home had all the amenities you could need to cook with. We will definitely come back!

Immaculately clean and well appointed

Pineapple Paradise was a delight. It was our first time in Crystal Beach and we really enjoyed our stay. The home was immaculately clean and very well appointed—my girlfriend is always wary of home rentals due to cleanliness, and she was very impressed. Very close to the beach. Decent enough WiFi for one of us to work if needed. It was just two of us, so there was plenty of space. We would happily return with another couple and have plenty of space. Overall 5 out of 5 stars. Perfect COVID getaway from Austin. Three cons made this a four star property for us. Two could be fixed, one just is what it is... 1. The washer and dryer left our clothes smelling like cigarette smoke. On a first whiff the machines didn’t smell like anything, but our clothes came out reeking. Really disappointing considering everything else about this rental was spotless. 2. The front door opens outward, so none of the hotel/vacation door locks will work. We always bring something with us if the door locks with a code and there isn’t information on how often the code is changed. We suggest the owner either let the renter pick their own code, or fix the door so that it opens inward and can be locked with any of the “AirBnb” portable locks on the market. This might be a deal breaker for us returning. 3. Be aware that the Bolivar Peninsula is heavily Trump country. Lots of flags and paraphernalia from all the houses and people on the beach. I’m a white guy who grew up in Texas, so I know to just pay those people no mind. But if you’re a BIPOC be aware that the people here might not be the most friendly.

Great Experience, Nice Cabin!

Cabin was super cute & clean and located in a good area. Check in process was easy & the expectations/rules from the property owners were laid out from the beginning so we knew exactly what to expect. We will def rent from these owners again.

Great beach house!!

The house was overall really awesome. Very spacious, practical use of furniture, nicely decorated. The common area inside was great, outside balcony table/chairs a great bonus for shaded outdoor time, the large space on the ground floor was awesome. The kitchen was fully stocked. We didn't feel like anything was missing. Leftover spices was a nice bonus since some places won't even leave salt and pepper. The ground floor had a nice built in picnic table and a bar. Overall great house with reasonable pricing. The property managers were very responsive and kind. There was just one small problem with stained bedding that i reported. It was taken care of immediately. So we really appreciate that. We would definitely stay here again! Highly recommend staying here!

Excellent Home

The home was everything advertised and more. The views are great and it’s just a few feet from beach. This was family vacation with our kids and young grandkids and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We will definitely be back!!!

Pleasant Place

The house was well designed and decorated. We loved the calming colors of the design and the openness of the living area. Beds were comfortable and found the house to have what we needed for cooking and even time at the beach. There were some cleanliness issues as far as dust and dirt on doors and around edges of the floor as well as some hair in a variety of places but you could smell cleaner in some areas. The walk to the beach was not far and the crowd was minimal during our stay. Overall we were pleased with our stay and would consider renting again!

Perfect Getaway

Our family truly enjoyed our stay. The house was very spacious and incredibly beautiful. We loved sitting on the patio where we could enjoy the breeze and views of the water. We also appreciated how this house was dog friendly. We will definitely book again.

Beautiful, spacious, beach house steps from the ocean!

This is a wonderful beach home with all the amenities you could need. Very clean. Everything is brand new. Wonderful communication with the owners. My mother, siblings and our children stayed here and there was plenty of room for everyone. Open concept which was very nice. Downstairs area was perfect for entertaining and had a very big outdoor shower with warm water. We would love to stay here again. Thanks for the hospitality!

Amazing!

The house is perfect and just down the street from the beach. Very clean and organized. My two kids, wife and I had the best time. We the Cotton Bowl was on and we needed the ESPN channel. The owner contacted Direct TV and we had it. That is amazing service in my book. The owner could have said good luck and sorry. If we stay in Bolivar again we will definitely stay here again.
