Mark's place was a great spot for our family of 23. The kids enjoyed all the games and beach toys. There was plenty of space in the kitchen and commons areas for everyone to eat and relax. The wind is blocked in the backyard, so we enjoyed a fire without being windblown. We had such a wonderful weekend together, and we'd definitely stay again.

This property is great. It sits on a portion of the beach that doesn't have a lot of public use. Every bedroom has it's own bathroom which was great for our large group. We cooked all of our meals in the kitchen while there and had lots of fun in the game room and sitting on the balconies overlooking the ocean and enjoyed the hot tub every evening. We also made smores one night over the fire pit. Very peaceful vacation. Mark, our host was great in keeping in touch with us and making sure we had everything we needed.

Fantastic Beach Home!

This was by far the best beach house we have stayed at over the years! The owners have thought of everything! Our extended family of 20 loved the roominess and all the features of this house. Each of the 5 bedrooms had their own bathroom, as well as 2 outdoor showers downstairs. The house was very clean and the beach theme decor throughout the house was great! The separate playroom was full of game tables which was a big bonus.The kitchen had every appliance needed as well as it was very well stocked with all of the kitchen necessities to feed large groups. There was generous seating indoors and out. The 2 decks had great views of the ocean with cool breezes blowing through and there was plenty of seating.The swim spa was amazing as well as the outdoor fire pit area in a fenced yardThe beach was literally a 1-2 minute walk from the house. The beach area felt secluded and it was never crowded.This property was definitely a wonderful stay for our beach vacation!!

Great location right on the beach. Easy access for young grandkids to walk to the water. Hot tub was a big hit.Well equipped kitchen, great supply of towels (even beach towels), bathrooms were well supplied, beds very comfortable.

Birthday Bash

We had the best time staying at The Ocean Grand for our birthday weekend! The outdoor area was amazing… we were there unless we were sleeping. So close to the beach which made for daily walks!! Would definitely stay here again :)

Absolutely Perfect!

This is our third year to take the team on a trip like this and this house is by far the best we have rented. The play room was a huge hit! The boys spent all their free time playing pool and ping pong rather than being on their phones or TV. The hot tub was enormous and a great feature especially since it was too cold for the ocean. I am so thankful we found this house and hope to return.

Amazing beachfront home

It really is just like the photos :) A group of 10 of us (adults with adult children) stayed for the week. The game room was a huge plus for the day it rained. The rest of the trip was sunny and warm and the hot tub was an excellent way to unwind after a day at the beach or after spending the day in Galveston. Being able to bring my grandpup along was a huge plus! Note they a prior reviewer commented on the SC - we didn’t have this issue as we noted there are two units and two thermostats (one upstairs and one down) and they kept us at a perfect temp during our stay. Property owners were communicative and we will definitely stay here again!

Everything was nice except grass needed to be mowed and because of that tons of mosquitoes no where to get wood for fire pit and was not told that I would have to get a propane exchange other then that very nice place

Oceanic Grand

Upon arrival, the first thing our group noticed was the property was very well-cleaned. It was perfect for our large group, with enough space and activities for kids, adults, and teens! We loved the direct beach access and a short walk to the beach with a great outdoor space that was docked with toys and beach items we could think of. The host was very accommodating and helpful with any concerns and questions we had and made our stay extremely comfortable. Would definitely recommend this house to anyone looking for a beach getaway!
