Disliked: Cleanliness, property conditions & facilities, room comfort
Breakfast unavailable as we were leaving early.
Room was clean and quite spacious even with extra bed for kids put in it. Main bed was huge, but the matress was uncomfortable, not supportive at all. Plenty of pillows, bedding was nice.
Bathroom was very poor, floor looks like a public toilets floor, one of the taps was broken, shower had bits of black mould around the rim.
Had dinner in the pub, on a Sunday night before Christmas, the menu was very limited, no festive options, unless pre-ordered. Being Martons pub, we were unpleasantly surprised there was only one ale available. Bar floor sticky, whole restaurant area had unpleasant smell. Food was taking forever to come out, to the point me and kids left the pub and went to our room, leaving husband behind to wait for their dessert to come. Food was nice enough, on a average side. Staff was very nice, that was the only positive.
