The room was very nice but the bed was very firm. The bathroom only had one cleanser for hair and body (it would be nice if there was a conditioner). With the exception of the bed, which did not work for me or my spouse, I would recommend.

We had a large corner room on the top floor which was well equipped with a coffee maker, electric kettle, refrigerator and cooktop. The bathroom was large enough for us to be comfortable. The bed was very comfortable. We arrived very early in the morning, it was easy letting ourselves in with the code they gave us and our room keys were exactly where they said they were. Bonus is that there is a coffee shop on the first floor. We would definitely stay here again!

The hotel and the room was great! There is no “front desk” though so not really any staff to talk to. All communication before and during my stay was done through Expedia messaging. I had to get my room key from the restaurant on the ground floor (which I didn’t know…so it was a bit confusing). Other than that it’s a very beautiful building and the rooms are very spacious. There’s an elevator as well. The area is central to everything in Ponta Delgada (restaurants, shopping, etc). All in all a good stay!

Great building in a great location! There is a cute cafe downstairs, and it is easy to walk to restaurants/shops. The room was clean and very large. It doesn’t have a monitored reception, and at times it was difficult to find help if we had an issue with the room.

Location is extremely convenient for accessing all parts of the city and many bars and restaurants nearby. It can be a little noisy at night, but the hotel provides ear plugs. The building is beautiful and the room is spacious and well supplied with everything you need. Some of the fixtures needed to be screwed in better/levelled, but otherwise everything was great. Staff aren’t really present except for daily housekeeping but it doesn’t interfere with anything.

The property and staff are amazing, very welcoming, and in an excellent location. The only downside is the bar next door. Patrons are very noisy and party until 5-6 in the morning

This is the best hotel in the middle of the most exciting part of downtown Ponta Delgada. Parking could be tricky if you're renting a car but there are options nearby so it would be a short walk. Fantastic restaurants are everywhere and generally you won't need to walk uphill on your way home. I'd say more specifically nice things but this is my favorite hotel and I want to have it available for my next visit. Patricia is caring and wonderful and is ready to help whenever and however you need. 30/10 will be staying here again next time I visit.
