Booked this hotel because I was on a budget, didn't expect much. I was pleasantly surprised though. Room was smallish but not uncomfortable. Balcony was spacious though. They change towels every 3-4 days and sheets once a week. Wifi could and should be better in rooms, that's a minus. Food is a bit repetitive for breakfast but it's tasty. Dinner is way better, a few different options every evening. There are 2 pools within the hotel and a pool bar. The hotel kinda sorta has its own beach but it's not worth staying with all the awesome beaches all around Sithonia. We had a bit of a problem to park a car since their parking was full almost every day. All in all, I would recommend staying here and would come again.
everything was wonderful for a relaxing vacation, a very nice hotel, clean, smiling staff, the food is delicious and varied. The animators Milica and Martin are great! I recommend it 100%! We will come back again!
Do not be fooled by the professional photographs you see on the booking sites and website. They obviously paid someone very well to get these done. If I had to rate this hotel against other hotels I've been at it would not score **. It will probably get *. However there are a few good but many bad points. Explained below: Good. The staff are friendly and attentive. After a room mix up we were moved to a larger room after a day - the one we paid for. The pools are very nice and well kept - see photos. The hotel is close to the beach with sunbed for use by hotel guests - €4 per day but you het 2 free drinks from the pool bar included. The salad bar was ok. Wi-Fi all over the premises a bit slow but good reception. Close to some lovely other beaches to relax, swim and sun bathe - see photo. The sunset from the dining room is amazing - see photo. I've lost weight during the stay here... :-) Bad. The smoking policy is terrible and when you eat people can light up right next to you. Even if you sit inside, the smoke blows inside. And if you walk to the restaurant it is like walking through a smoking room. Not great for a non-smoker. But I don't think it is unique to this hotel... The food is average. Although I've always managed to have something to eat, the veg have been a rarity on the menu. And when it was served, it was boiled to pulp - not nice. The dessert was boring with very little choice. And you could tell they were using them the next day again. There is nothing wrong with this but perhaps be mote discreet. Breakfast was hit and miss. Don't try the scrambled eggs it's disgusting. I ended up having toast and cake each day... The rooms are in desperate need of maintenance. Loose taps, dirty tile grout, electric wires and extension leads all over the place. Missing lampshade... The Greek themed night was not Greek. The food was the same menu as before. They only put a singer on after dinner. He was average. The dancing was around the pool so not great, just a long line of people shuffling along. If you like to hear every word, snore and grunt from the rooms next door, this is the place for you. The walls are paper thin. Noisy children, loud adults, snoring and showers mid morning is not a good way to be sleep deprived from your holiday. Bee warned.... I've never experienced such unfriendly guests in my life before. This is nothing the hotel can do about or influence but everyone just growling at each other each day is not fun... So why a ** review? Well the staff genuinely try their best. And generally they do well. Also it was not that expensive so I guess you get what you pay for. If you can put up with the above, then risk coming here. But if you're like me I'd not come back again.
An outstanding pool area whith the friendly staff at the bar. As I booked an all inclusive for my family, I ended up feeling like a looser as other Bulgarian guests had booked half board. The money for the All inclusive is not worth it as food is not OK. Not only that it was scarce, but of poor quality. They offered fried eggs once in 3 days and my husband had problems with his stomack all day. Beware which room you get as soom rooms are quite crumble, so get one with a pool view. I would go again just not all inclusive. Nonetheless the surroundings are beautiful and the hotel itself nicely designed.
Our stay at the Simeon Hotel in Greece was a pleasant stay & all the staff were were hospitable ( George was excellent around the pool bar) However with that said a few things need to be taken into account; when on an All Inclusive package……… Don’t be fooled……… it’s not ! Yes the breakfast, lunch & poor excuse for dinner is, but bar snacks are not and alas not all alcohol is ! The three main meals of the day were not great and out of 10 would give the food offering a mere 3. We ended up eating out every night as the food was bland and not appealing at all. As for breakfast, who the hell eats Pasta and Sweetcorn in the morning ( Must be a Greek thing 😂). The rooms were clean; a lot of steps to the top rooms (so be warned); but the management need to think about how Mirrors are placed above the dressing table, ( When sitting , you can not see yourself, 🤣) and a shelf in the bathroom would have helped, ( good point was beds were comfortable. We really enjoyed our time and would recommend this hotel if you need to relax ( Apart from the screaming Children, sometimes and The pumping out of the waste system twice a day whilst trying to relax next to the pool and the joys of the sewage wafting across). If these points could be looked at and the food was made 10 times better, you would be in for a great holiday. Do enjoy if you decided to go and say hello to the lovely George.
We stayed at this hotel on a half board basis and found it good value. The staff are friendly and efficient, particularly the manager and the poolside barman George, he knows his music. The breakfast is good and the evening meal could show more variation. The swimming pools are excellent, if a bit noisy when young children are about. The only minus is that there are no lifts on the site. Our party were all in our sixties and dragging our cases up a few flights of stairs was very difficult. Perhaps some help from the staff could be provided for older people in the future.
Hotel Simeon is a good 3* hotel, it has 2 good size pools with pool bars serving limited snacks. All of the rooms and grounds of hotel are clean and well maintained. The pool bar/restaurant staff are so polite and hard working. In particular Kiki, George, Elina, Joanna and another female with curly dark hair who was always smiling. The beds are made daily and room given a quick clean and every 3 days if not more frequently the sheets and towels were changed. A selection of shops/bars and restaurants very near by and open early until late. We loved tasos bakery (and its staff) and cup bar does good snacks and shows football games on tv. My negatives were that the shower cubicles were ridiculously small in our rooms. The Wi-Fi was intermittent and password changed through the week so you had to go to reception for the new password. The variety of food was not really enough to suit all tastes, at breakfast there was pasta and a bowl of cucumber out which felt like it was just to fill a space as I don't associate these as breakfast foods. All of the food tasted okay but more variety was needed as sometimes we struggled to find something we liked at dinner. It also didn't stay warm in the trays so if you didn't go early you could end up with luke warm food. The all inclusive is from breakfast at 8am-10pm and includes most soft drinks, hot drinks, beer wine and ouzo. 3 main meals, a snack hour 11-12 and coffee and cake 5-6. Good overall mid-price hotel
We loved our stay at the Simeon Hotel. The hotel is modern, two great pools, really close to the beach, fantastic and attentive staff and great food. All round - highly recommended for a holiday stay in a quieter part of Greece.
The hotel is clean, nice people, good food, all the conditions for a nice and quiet holiday. Only one negative point: not enough parking places: during to one storm few cars was floating in to the see because nobody tells do not park on that valley.
Just finished my holiday here and I was very pleasent about all. Very pleasent personal, a variety of good food and a lot for everyone. I liked very much friday night when was a party with music, dance and a lot of fun. Thank you for everything! See you next year! I will come back with pleasure with my family and friends.
