When we first arrived at the hotel we were a bit disappointed as it’s been closed for a while and recently refurbished, so a few teething problems. The staff and management immediately made us feel reassured and made us feel very welcome! The rooms are very clean and we were in a sea view room, the views were spectacular and I spent every morning sat there taking in the views with a coffee and a good read.......bliss!! The food was good and lots of choice and the restaurant had panoramic stunning views also. The pool was clean and we always managed to get a sun lounger and clean towels every day. I must admit I do think the drinks should be served in reusable plastic wine and beer glasses, drinks just don’t taste as good in those flimsy throw away plastic cups’ I would recommend going into Nikiti it’s €15 in a taxi and is well worth a visit, lots of lovely sea front restaurants and bars. The manager at the hotel Petros Gkortsos, is doing an amazing job, he had only been there for a few days when we arrived and day by day you could see the great changes he was making to the hotel and I’m sure he will help to make this a 5 star review hotel. He is very friendly and genuinely cares about his customers and wants to make sure they have a great stay there....... well done!! I also want to mention Kyra, Amelia and Georgina, always a smile to greet you, helpful and genuinely friendly, nothing was too much trouble. Thank you Jayne & Mike

Before I get onto the review can I just say, we have heard on the news today about the freak storm in the area. We do hope everyone at the hotel is OK, we were saddened to hear this. We stayed at this hotel for a week, the first week in July, and the hotel had only been open a couple of weeks. Reading the reviews before we arrived we were very nervous about what we would find. The improvement was great! Yes, there is still a way to go but staff must be fast learners to see such an improvement in so short a time. The best thing about this hotel is it's staff. Mention should be made of Marios, Amalia and Georgia on Reception. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Also Kyriakos at the pool - always cheerful and helpful and finally, Georgia the housekeeper who tried her best to keep on top of the rooms and was always cheerful and willing to help. You definitely need more staff in this area, and they need to know exactly what they should be doing i.e. what to clean and what to replace. Someone said the pool isn't as big as it looked in the pictures and it's easy to see that the picture was taken at an angle to make it appear bigger. however, it was plenty big enough to swim lengths in. More parasols are needed and they all need to be working but this was being improved even during our stay. We walked down to the beach a couple of times. The first time down the rickety stairs which needs care, but if you walk a very short way further along the road there is a gently sloping walk way that leads to the same beach and is much safer to walk along. The reception staff will book excursions and taxi's if needed. We took advantage of both and they were very reasonable. Finally, someone said that the room doors wouldn't lock. They do. but you must double lock them. Perhaps they hadn't realised this. Keep up the good work and keep on improving and next time it will be 5stars.

We travelled with our family of 5 here for 1 week. The hotel has only been recently renovated. It has a beautiful simple but very stylish finish. Rooms and the general hotel areas are very clean. Great selection of food, ice cream and drinks. All the staff without exception very extremely friendly and welcoming and all extremely hardworking. The hotel is in a beautiful setting with stunning views. It is a bit remote but if you want to enjoy the beauty of Sithonia you need a car anyway. We had a fabulous and very memorable holiday and will definitely be back.

We booked this last minute to chill before starting tests for some medical issues - we were a tad worried about the recent reviews however we were more than pleasantly surprised when we arrived. Although things were still being finished and it was evident that the staff were new and still learning they service, food and facilities were very good. Yes, it is a bit isolated but we wanted a quite break to forget things - which this did perfectly. The beach and pool were very nice although the steps to the beach could certainly do with renovating but you could also get to the beach by the road at the side thus avoiding the steps. Although the restaurant had beer, wine, soft / hot drinks at meal times you were unable to get any other alcoholic drinks without going down to the pool bar - I could not understand why the bar in the restaurant which was stocked with all types of alcohol was not open. For any bird watchers there is some very good habitat if you walk to the right of the hotel and onto the beach past the Taverna and take the dirt track on the left then follow the track to the right. We had some great evenings with Laura & John and have returned back relaxed ready for things ahead. We would definitely return to this hotel and like other recent reviewers believe that in 3 months time it will have improved even further. Hotel would benefit from a small shop and this would also bring in additional revenue as well as an added guest convenience

A beautiful hotel in tranquil surroundings - the perfect place to go and recharge your batteries. But I think what made the experience was the amazing staff; they go above and beyond to make your stay as relaxing and comfortable as possible. All the reception staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, the waiting staff were lovely - must say a special thank you to Mike, Stavros and Kostas who repeatedly made us laugh, the bar staff were great, and the housekeepers were always smiling and extremely considerate. The view on the terrace is stunning, the food is good, the beach is very nice... The value for money is incredible - couldn't recommend more! Suggestions for the hotel - less plastic! It would be good if you could use less plastic. I understand why you don't want glass by the poolside but perhaps you could use reusable glasses (or have plastic recycling?). Also - those plastic bowties? They need to go!

the hotel was clean and the rooms comfortable, with a new bed so a good nights sleep and with AC it was very comfortable, there were the usual toiletries and the rooms made up every day. Food was OK, nothing amazing but plenty of it and enough of a variety. The pool was nice and clean and towels are provided, the beach is just across the road with parasols and beds. I would say they could with a few more beds and shades for the beach and the pool is also maybe a little small the size of the hotel, also there wasn't any entertainment in the evening so take a pack of cards. All in all a lovely holiday at a good price

Please ignore any review for this hotel which was submitted before May 2019 as since then it has new owners and has undergone a complete re-fit. My wife and I have just returned after spending 2 weeks at the Bianco Olypico. When we arrived there was a lot of work going on and it was quite interesting to see improvements being made on a day to day basis. Our stay was most enjoyable and we were made to feel very welcome by the management and staff. Check in was quick and efficient and the re-furbished rooms were tastefully decorated with a very nice bathroom and superb shower. All the meals were a buffet style which we prefer. The beer, wines and soft drinks were self service at a small bar in the restaurant. The quality of the food was excellent and the options offered were varied to suit most tastes. By far this hotels greatest asset is the staff. They were efficient polite and you got the impression that they wanted to make our holiday a pleasurable experience. My particular thanks go to the two great barmen George and Petros. The receptionists Anastisa and Georgia. The Pool attendant Kireakos and Stavros the waiter who all went the extra mile to give good customer service. This hotel is quite isolated in a wonderful setting with the nearest village about 4 km away so if you are looking for shopping or going clubbing you will have to hire a car or use the taxis. To gain access to the hotel you will have to walk up a rather steep driveway.

My friend and I have just returned from our holiday here and we had a lovely relaxing holiday, which is just what we were after. We were expecting the worst after reading the recent reviews before we traveled but there was really no need. The hotel and rooms were clean and our room was made up everyday, the pool was a good size with beautiful views across the sea and the pool waiter was incredibly helpful and friendly as were all the staff. Yes, they are still making improvements to the hotel but this did not affect our stay at all. The food was good, always a good selection and the views of the sunset at dinner time from the restaurant and balcony are stunning. It is in a remote location but we knew this before we traveled but the beach is a 2 minute walk away and is beautiful. There is also a shop and a teverna within walking distance. A lot of guests had hired a car that was dropped off and picked up from the hotel for a few days which I would advise if you want more to do. We loved our holiday here and I have a serious case of the holiday blues this morning sat at my desk, if I could jump on a flight and go back, I would!

Lots of mixed reviews for this hotel - some warranted and some definitely not. Ultimately, it depends on what you're looking to get out of a holiday. Apart from sunburn and a bad back (our fault, not the hotel) we had a lovely break. We went away with the intention of relaxing and we did just that. Yes, the hotel wasn't at a fully operational state and some of the details on their website and travel sites were a tad misleading, if not false. However, each and every day it improved. We also liked to keep an eye out for what new feature/s arrived each day and noticed how the staff improved as well. Whilst there were lots of new staff and more new faces appeared during our stay, each and every one of them was friendly and couldn't do enough for you. We also thought they did quite well considering the amount of complaints and moaning from certain guests, which seemed a regular occurrence. The rooms were a good size and all balcony's on each side of the hotel had a lovely view. The air conditioning was perfect to get a good nights sleep and the fridge handy to keep your drinks cool (you need to get them from the bar/restaurant). If you're the type of person that gets bored quickly then you'll need a good pair of legs and can cope with the heat or you'll need to rent a car, which you can rent from the hotel and reasonable rates. We didn't and the closest town with a supermarket is 5k away or a very hot hour and twenty minute walk. Google maps will tell you it's under an hours walk but I applaud anyone that can do that time in 35 degree heat! Our biggest gripe has to be the food. It's not like any other buffet I've seen before and the lack of labels makes it a 'Russian-roulette' with what you're eating so anyone with an allergy would need to be careful. Don't get me wrong, we managed to pick our way through during our weeks stay and whilst it got better during the week, it was a low-point. I know you've got to cater for all with a buffet but not once did we feel we got to try some 'Greek' food. Personally, we'd opt for more local dishes and a smaller amount of international dishes to please the rest. You're in Greece after all, eat Greek!!! There is a lovely Taverna a short walk away which is worth a visit, if not for a change of scenery. At the end of the day, we get why they opened earlier than they should have because they'd have passed up on valuable business and the prices we've all paid reflect that which I think the 'complainers' should have acknowledged before giving their low marks and poor reviews. We strongly believe that if we visited this hotel 6 months down the line when it's fully operational then I'm sure it'd have gotten 5 stars!

This is a solid three star hotel...the place is lovely and clean and modern and boutique and improved daily as they worked through the issues.. The good points The food- the salad was always very fresh, the meatballs ,lamb and stuffed peppers were my favourites The drinks- wide variety and fast service at bar and there was waiter service around the pool The location- absolutely stunning The staff- so polite The bad points Rooms towels- not changed daily despite leaving on floor as requested and they sometimes would take the towels and just give us 1 hand towel between 2 people Pool- the pool was stunning and I loved it but minor issues such as not enough loungers meant not everyone could enjoy the best facility of the hotel! Also the pool has been painted and in the heat the paint would come onto your skin or bathing suits. I would recommend this hotel if you could get it for a good price and hopefully in weeks to come all these issues will be resolved and so it would be perfect!
