Our stay didn’t meet expectations. We booked a deluxe double room with a sea view but received a side-view room. When we raised this, they explained we got what we paid for and should have booked directly on their website, which felt misleading. The listing mentioned a Nespresso machine, but it was communal, old, and malfunctioning. Additionally, the people hanging out at the entrance (likely family of the owner) were loud, playing cards, and while this isn’t inherently bad, it didn’t reflect the quality for the price we paid. The room was smaller than pictured, soundproofing was poor, and we were disappointed overall. Eleni was hospitable, but we didn’t receive the welcoming gestures mentioned in other reviews. For the price, we expected much more.

Very spontaneously we booked Aiora Suites as our acommodation. Our host assisted us even before arrival with a very professional Airport Transport & greeted us personally at our arrival. We had the fortunate luck to experience two of the apartments - one big sea side view Suite and a big One Bedroom Apartment - at Aioras. The apartments are brand new & very lovely - a mix between clean, minimalist and modern greek, with a lot of authenticity and an luxurious feeling. The bed sheets and frottees are hypoallergenic, very soft & fluffy & smell amazing (we were told they are cleaned in a specific manner - which you will instantly tell!). The host and the family are lovely, very hospitable and assisting in every way & greeted us with fresh backed greek goods every morning. The Aiora apartments are within few feet from the beach & village center, where there are rural and public beaches as well as beach clubs, but still in a quiet part of the town. The cuisine in the Taverns around the Aiora is impeccable and mixed but still authentically greek. We loved the Apartment as well as the greek charme & could not be any happier with our choice & our host Eleni! We can only recommend Aiora Suites and we will gladly be back.
