Ideal location for us as a family.

The flat was ideally located for us. The host was really excellent and responded to any messages extremely quickly. The sunny balcony overlooking the sea was a lovely place to have breakfast. The kitchen was well appointed and had all the basics you would need. The shower was great in terms of power and temperature. However I would say that the bathroom needs an update in terms of the aesthetics of the grouting and sealant. There is an outdoor pool but again that looked as though it needed some attention. This could be because it is still relatively early in the season. Over all for the price we paid it was a great find and we would stay there again.

Half good half bad

The main complaint was that both the shower and the kitchen areas needed resealing. The shower had filthy black mold around the walk in base and also around the wash basin. Any food placed on the kitchen worksurface was immediately attacked by ants who entered via the joint betwèn the worktop and the wall. Generally the the appartment needed a refurbishment.

Holiday apartment at Port o polensa

The accommodation was excellent,finding it took over 2 hrs,a mobile phone number of the manager would be useful,and a name on the front of the apartment block also. We did not know the actual number of the apartment it was number 1 but we were told where to park in number 4 and a description where the flat was, which I did not understand. consequently we spent 2 hrs waiting trying to contact the manager by email,we had no postcode for the property again a mistake . Finding it was almost the only thing that detracted from a lovely vacation .

Great location

Although the location was perfect, the apartment is no longer a ‘new construction’ and shows signs of wear and tear in the bathroom and decor of doors etc in the property. There was a complete lack of any information regarding essential services (eg nearest pharmacy, doctor, hospital, property manager/ housekeeper, etc) and more detailed instructions of how to reach the property if travelling by car would have been welcome. Whilst not a major problem for us as we had been to the area before it could be an issue for first time visitors.

The location of the property is very good and has good space and good views of the sea. The property could do with painting as there were a lot of marks on the doors etc. the big downside was that the swimming pool was not in good condition and we were not able to use it which was a big disappointment. It had a leak and the level of water was low and it was not clean. It was a shame about this as otherwise the property was well stocked with utensils in the kitchen etc.

No major problems. Pool area: more regular cleaning (of the water), more sun beds (only 3). Generally: day to day maintenance, bird pooh on the wall, loose stone on the entrance path (for 2 weeks).

No pool!!

We booked this apartment because it has a pool, our girls aren't keen on the beach (sadly for me). We were only staying for 3 nights 2.5 days and out of that time the pool was not available to use for nearly 2 days (some problem apparently)!! We asked for compensation but the owner was not willing at all and just said there was nothing he could do. Our girls were really disappointed as you can imagine. Of course, if we'd known there was no pool we would have found another apartment. We would not stay here again. The apartment was a longer walk to the port than expected although it did have a nice view of the sea from the balcony. The shower was not very powerful. The floor was covered in a sort of residue/film. There is no aircon in the twin bedroom, which made it very hot for our girls at nighttime. Although the kitchen was pretty well equipped there was no larder space. One of the legs on the kitchen chairs was broken and a chair in the sitting room. All in all our holiday was so disappointing and not at all what it should have been. These issues could have been easily remedied but because of the greedy and unhelpful owner our stay was not enjoyable. It has made us question using homeaway if the owners are like this. We wish this review had have been a positive one.

Wonderful comfortable apartment in a great location with everything we needed

Great apartment on second floor of block. Lovely balcony looking over to the beach and sea. We cooked most nights for two weeks and had everything we needed. Good WiFi connection and heating which we used being end of November! Great location for access to some fun cycling. Had a fabulous week! Thank you.

Fantastic location and beautiful apartment

Absolutely perfect. The apartment was extremely comfortable and beautifully laid out with the balcony having glorious views over the sea, a delightful spot at any time of day but particularly lovely for breakfast in the sunshine. Very well furnished & equipped - it was great to have a washing machine & dishwasher and even better to have a plentiful supply of plates, cutlery etc. The location was fantastic, in walking distance of town yet in a quiet and green area. Some nice restaurants/bars just a couple of minutes walk away too. Plenty to do in and around Puerto Pollensa - as well as walking and cycling (we used 2 Go Cycling in the town who were very good), we visited the wetland reserve at S'Alberferata which was beautiful. Arnau was great to deal with, very quick and helpful at replying to queries, and arrival/departure very simple with key in key safe. Highly recommended.

Great Holiday

We had a great weeks cycling holiday the apartment was a fantastic base a 15 min walk to the centre of Puerto Pollensa but just across the road from the beach. The area is a haven for walkers runners swimmers and cyclist. Would defiantly go back to this apartment.

Wonderful Appartment in great location!

We came here for a 4-night stay over New Year. The apartment was very clean & tidy with plenty of towels available. The kitchen includes a Nespresso coffee maker and the owner had left 2 boxes of capsules for us to use. The kitchen has a wide variety of utensils, cutlery, crockery, a kettle, a toaster, tea-towels and includes a washing machine and a half-width dishwasher (we never used either). The two bedrooms are a good size with adequate space for hanging clothes (plenty of coat hangers which is rare!). The main bedroom has an air-conditioning unit. The open-plan living room has two swivel chairs and a reasonable settee. It has a large flatscreen TV, satellite receiver (mostly German language channels), DVD player and a bluetooth speaker. The balcony has views over the beach & Pollenca Bay. It is a real sun trap and so we were able to enjoy breakfast sat out there - even at the beginning of January! As regards location, even though it is located at the southern end of Puerto de Pollenca, it is easy to locate from the main road to Alcudia and is only about a 15 minute walk from the centre of the town along the bay. We can only mention two very minor issues with the apartment but does not in any way detract from beauty of this property: the car park has a very tight entrance so we just parked on the road at the front, and the ironing board is a small table-top one. We can thoroughly recommend the Stay restaurant on the harbour. We ate there twice (including New Year's Eve party) and the food is of a very high quality - as are the staff. Overall, we loved this apartment and would certainly look to return here next time we're in Mallorca!

Lovely apartment in a fab location.

The apartment is excellent ; clean tidy with everything you need home from home, particularly if you travel light with just carry-on, with added bonus of bath robe. View of sea from the balcony and despite the balcony being on the side of the building, it gets the sun most of the day. Nice and quiet too, with only 4 apartments we had the pool to ourselves if we decided to use it although the beach is only a few yards away. Arnau very helpful and gave us access early.

The property is in a fantastic location and the view is exceptional. It is my third visit to Puerto de Pollensa and easily the best and most relaxed environment that I've stayed in. I would recommend this property to anyone wishing to stay in a beautiful residence with a great view and ideal location to all sights an attractions that Pollensa has to offer.

Lovely, modern, spotless appartment. Good location. Very helpful owner.

We stayed here for 1 week in August 2016 with two kids (7 & 4 yrs). The appartment is in a great location, very peaceful, pretty sea views and a nice stony beach under pine trees right opposite (good for picnics). You can walk easily to the main sandy beach, shops & bars of Porto Pollensa, although renting bikes makes it quicker. Appartment is modern, light, spotlessly clean. Well equipped and a nice feel. There is a small pool downstairs and a cellar for bikes. The owner was always very helpful, quick to answer queries on email or phone, and flexible about check in and out times to sync with flight schedules. An excellent choice for an appartment in Porto Pollensa, good value all round and would recommend.
