It’s far enough away from the boardwalk so you can get some sleep at night. It’s close enough to walk to a few restaurants. The place is clean and the pool is well kept.

Our stay was fine until the morning. My girlfriend called down nice and early(on my cell phone since the landline in the room wasn’t plugged in and was just for show apparently) and asked for an extended check out(just by one hour from 11 to noon) was told yes no problem. Then at 10:45, housekeeping banged on the door and just started walking in almost immediately without giving me a moment to get out of bed, even after I called out “just a moment!” The woman who was at the door who I assume worked for housekeeping was incredibly rude, telling me there was no way I had a late check out. She then proceeded to call down to the front desk, who told her that I didn’t request or get a late check out approved. I was shocked at the audacity of everyone to be honest. Was an unfortunate beginning to my day, as well as terrible and lasting first impression of the Atlantic Motel. I go to Point Pleasant every year and I will most definitely never book another room at the Atlantic Motel after this experience.

From check in to check out any questions in Between was a breeze. From front desk to house keeping to maintenence, everyone was helpful. The property for me was perfect,on the same road as 7 eleven for my morning coffe before the beach, the beginning of the boardwalk, ice cream pizza shops and restaurants all on the 10 min walk to and fun the beach. I read the reviews, checked out all the posted pics and suggestions and everything matched. Loved being able to see the water and fishing boats from our balcony... loved it so much we are booked for this weekend again. To try it out now that it is more in season...

Daytime staff is rude and disrespectful

The night staff was very friendly and polite and customer friendly. The day side was horrible. The woman in charge was rude and very disrespectful. Wanted to make me change rooms on a multi night stay. Instead of asking me nicely to change rooms she came banging on the door like a madwoman at 1101. I wouldn’t recommend ANYONE to stay this motel. Unless the woman in the day time is gone!!! Too much money for the abuse at a motel!!!
