Locust Lake Village
We really enjoyed our stay at this property over the 4th. The property is immediately aside of a very popular beach and playground so we had the option to be part of the action or have our own private beach. The unit includes 2 kayaks, a canoe, and a paddleboat and we enjoyed them all. The inside of the home had plenty of room downstairs for 10 people to spread out and the flow of the spaces worked well. All necessary kitchen small appliances, utensils, and supplies were available. We also enjoyed the shuffleboard table and the arcade game. The downstairs bedroom was dark, but the upstairs rooms are all painted brightly. There are actually 4 bedrooms upstairs with the 4 twin beds being split between two separate rooms. We actually preferred this as the kids slept better. The local community also had a lot of activities which we all enjoyed. Fishing was fairly good as well, and the owner was very responsive. Overall, very much recommend.
