When you’re away from home working it’s always great to find a comfortable room to stay in and a bed to sleep in. What I really enjoyed was the abundance of pillows like I have at home. The other thing that was great was it was very quiet. The only downfall was parking.

We stayed here for 1 night to visit the ice castles which were only a short drive north. The service was friendly and welcoming. Our room was very clean and comfortable with a spacious bathroom as well. Free breakfast in the morning which is always a treat. The breakfast attendant was also very nice and friendly. Very reasonable rate for my room on a weekend for 1 night (Most hotels have 2 night minimums in that area) so I was very pleased with my stay! I would definitely come back.

alive bed bugs in several rooms. blood on sheets that likely were not changed after previous customers we got our money back but not without hesitation from the manager after we invited him in to show the bed bugs and the dirty sheets, his excuse, "someone stayed in these rooms last night"

I'm happy to say that this hotel, was clean, decorated nicely, each room had all modern consciences, micro, fridge, flat screen, charging ports, comfortable beds and pillows. Small breakfast buffet was included, staff was super friendly. A+

The room was ok. Breakfast in the morning without going out was great. Room was lit by CFLs. Half were not working and one was on floor. Sink drain was slow and non-working light over sink only the ceiling light available. The bath fan sounded like a turbo - prop plane for about 5 minutes and was tied into light switch so no opportunity to turn it off separately.

The room was nice with a couch, a coffee table, two chairs, a desk, two end tables, a refrigerator & microwave and lots of towels. The young man working there was very nice. He recommended the Common Man for dinner. Dinner was great. The hotel had breakfast in the morning.

We stayed here while visiting the Franconia area (Flume Gorge, Artist's Bluff hike, Cannon tram). It was a bit out of the way (about half hour drive) but we had a very pleasant stay. Pros: -Short walk (~half mile) to a downtown area with delicious dinner options -- I'd highly recommend The Common Man! -Clean room, bathroom, lobby -Good (not great) included breakfast -- yogurt, sausage, bagels, fruit -Friendly staff -AAA discount Cons: -Very thin walls/doors -- could hear everything in the hallway and outside -Not super close to the White Mountains but definitely doable -- very scenic drive

Picked this hotel while traveling on business. Easy access, has a few restaurants close by, or more annoying dinner selections if you don't mind a college town environment in Plymouth. Room was great, bed very comfortable, could open the windows (yeah)! Only downside is they don;t serve real brewed coffee, so you can try and stomach an automatic instant coffee machine (yuk). I would stay again and get a few packs of real coffee for the little machine in the room.

this hotel has no major frills, but has all the necessities. if you are heading to the lake area, particularly Squam, this is a potential place to stay. the room had windows facing toward the interstate, and nevertheless, it was remarkably quiet. good job on the soundproofing. they have an included breakfast, which was OK, not fancy. staff friendly. parking easy. room was comfortable overall, but only major criticism was lack of focused lighting, as over half of each bed and a reading light for the corner chair. exercise room across from us had no noise. dog friendly. beds comfortable. bathroom no frills, but shower good, hot, and enough towels. this hotel does what it needs to do: comfortable room, safe, convenient. not fancy.

Nothing fancy here, but they have it all.. The shades work well, the AC is efficient, basic toiletries and copious hot water.. The daytime staff is very very helpful, I suspect it's the owners and family. As mentioned before, the night shift can be a little grumpy, but who can blame them. Didn't use the pool, but there is one. I printed out a doc from the PC's and printer which was very convenient.
