For your convenience, there’s also a spacious laundry room featuring a full-sized washer and dryer, so you can refresh your wardrobe during longer stays.

Mareazul Resort is located just 6 km from Playa del Carmen’s ferry terminal.

Within the resort, you’ll find a mini market/grocery store stocked with a variety of everyday essentials — perfect for quick shopping runs. For larger groceries, the OXXO supermarket is only 1.5 km away (about a 20-minute walk or a 5-minute drive).

Dining is a delight at Mareazul, with two on-site restaurants serving excellent meals throughout the day:

- Punto Azul – Gastro Bar Restaurant by the pool
- Faro Azul – Beachfront restaurant at the beach club

Both offer delicious menus for breakfast, lunch, and dinner at reasonable prices — we personally enjoy breakfast there daily and often stay for lunch.

- La Cueva del Chango – Recommended for breakfast
A jungle-themed restaurant offering traditional Mexican dishes prepared with natural, local ingredients. Enjoy fresh juices, Mexican breakfasts, and seafood specialties.

- Amate 38 – Recommended for breakfast
Experience traditional Mexican and Yucatecan flavors crafted with local ingredients and Mayan-inspired recipes, served in a charming outdoor garden setting.

- Osteria de Roma – Recommended for lunch and dinner
A cozy Italian favorite featuring homemade pastas, pizzas, and classic Italian dishes in a warm and inviting ambiance.

- El Diez – Recommended for lunch and dinner
A classic Argentinian grill specializing in authentic cuts of meat, empanadas, and flavorful chimichurri.

Mareazul Resort / Corasol is situated at the **beginning of Fifth Avenue (Quinta Avenida) — Playa del Carmen’s most famous attraction and the longest pedestrian street in Latin America.

Fifth Avenue is lined with hundreds of restaurants, bars, shops, and malls, making it perfect for a stroll, shopping, or a night out. The downtown area (around Street 42) is about 3 km away, roughly a 40-minute walk or a 10-minute drive.

1. The resort is 6 km away from Playa’s Ferry.
2. We can help with airport taxi recommendations — reliable, professional, and fairly priced drivers. We specifically recommend two female taxi drivers who serve our guests with care.
3. Inside the resort, you’ll find a mini market carrying essential items for residents — that’s usually our first stop for supplies.
4. For larger grocery needs, the OXXO supermarket (1.5 km away) is easily accessible — 20 minutes on foot or 5 minutes by car.
5. Mareazul has two excellent restaurants open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner with fair prices and diverse menus.
6. Mareazul / Corasol is located at the beginning of Fifth Avenue, Playa’s main attraction and Latin America’s longest pedestrian street filled with restaurants, shops, and bars.
7. Walking along Fifth Avenue to downtown (Street 42) is about 3 km (roughly 40 minutes on foot or 10 minutes by car).
