This place and location is incredible. The host handled anything we needed. The owners in the same complex were so friendly and helpful. The private pool is the best view in the place and the spacious layout of the interior is so relaxing. The walk to town via beach is a bit too long. I would recommend a cab or golf cart. But I wouldn’t trade the location for anything.

Beautiful property
The unit is very nice and comfortable. Super clean on arrival and check in was easy. It was perfect for 3 adults and the murphy bed in the living room provides extra sleeping space if needed. The unit is spacious and the view from the veranda is amazing.
The private pool is a nice bonus since its mere steps from the door.
The unit is a few minutes drive from the entire peninsula, and maybe 5 minutes from the airport.
The only "complaints" we had were that the cookware options in the kitchen were quite limited. We ate dinners in the unit alot since we were there for a month, and it would have been easier if the kitchen was better equipped. Also, it would be really nice if there was a ceiling fan on the veranda, as the wall between units blocked most of the breeze. Even a stand up fan that could be moved outside would be better than nothing.
There is staff maintaining the property throughout the day if you have any concerns, and everyone was nice and helpful. This is a great property, conveniently located, and we will definitely be back.

Loved It!
Los Porticos was quiet, peaceful, beautiful, immaculately clean, and a 5-minute golf cart ride from Placencia, which was brimming with great restaurants, music, and shopping. We spent our first week in Belize in San Pedro, which was crowded, bustling, very busy, and we were ready to exhale and lie by the pool in Placencia. We did some great day tours (chocolate factory, Mayan ruins, Monkey River) and danced all evening at Cha Chi's. We had no issues with power failures due to the generators at Los Porticos, plenty of ready hot water and just every little (and big) thing we wanted. We loved it.
