Check in was easy. The rooms are huge, almost like a mini apartment with full size kitchen. The room was very clean and comfy. The breakfast was hot and very good. The staff was friendly and helpful. Check out was easy.

We have struggled finding a place to stay on the drive between Toronto and Charlotte. After this recent stay at TownePlace Suites, this is definitely on my list of places to return to. The staff were courteous and helpful. The room was reasonable size and had many thoughtful touches: lots of outlets to plug in our many devices, a shower with controls on the end opposite the shower head so that you do not get a blast of cold water when you step in, a sofa with head rest so you can lounge and watch TV, a condo sized fridge and dishwasher, to name a few. Location is conveniently off I-79. Lots of restaurant options within a short drive. And it was attractively priced compared to other hotels we stayed at during this road trip. Highly, highly recommend.

I chose this place on the strength of the reviews and I was not disappointed. The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean and well-appointed and friendly. This is a great place to stay! My only issue was that I had a late check-out, and the cleaning staff were knocking on my door before my actual check-out time. Otherwise, a stellar experience!

This is a nice new property in the Cranberry - Warrendale area. The room was in good shape and seemed quite clean. Beds were comfortable and it was quiet in the room. Housekeeping was a little hit-and-miss. They would sometimes leave both the hung up towels and any on the floor. No big deal though. The breakfast was a slight disappointment. I don't expect anything fancy from this level of hotel but others at this level of the Marriott brand do vary the hot entree slightly day to day. This location had the same every day. That just seems odd for a type of hotel that caters more to long-term stays with the in-room kitchen amenities. With a good price, I'd still choose this one again and just go out to breakfast for some mornings.

First time staying at this Marriott brand. I usually stay at the Marriott hotels. It was heavy downpour when I arrived. The gentleman managing the front desk helped me with the keys. Room is clean - I requested a king bed, I got two doubles all the way at the end of the hallway. TV was not working due to the storm (minus the star); having a fridge helped since I have to store medication. I am low maintenance but housekeeping kept fresh towels daily. Location is close to the freeway and food joints.

We needed two rooms. When we arrived after 330 only one was ready. Not the end of the world but certainly an inconvenience. The other was finally ready near 6 pm. When we opened the door the room smelled terrible. We sprayed it with air freshener and left it to eat. Upon return it still smelled so bad. My daughter determined it was the kitchen sink drain - but with some further investigation we determined it was the dishwasher. When we opened it we almost passed out. It was horrible. We called the front desk and were told we could change rooms as no one was here to clean it. Great. We pack up and move down the hall. We open the door to the new room. It wreaks of smoke. Not just a little bit but a lot. We open the window, crank the air conditioning and leave the door open for a draft. After about two hours it smelled a bit better. The beds have only feather pillows and they are useless, your head will be consumed and touching the bed the second you go to try to sleep. The beds themselves are not particularly comfortable either. We had the air conditioning set to 65 which should be like an icebox but it never really got cool and the plastic cover on it rattled all night keeping a light sleeper awake (and hot). We have request foam pillows and hope that they have some for the balance of the stay and maybe we can get the air conditioning repaired. The front desk gentleman was kind and accommodating but our frustration was beyond what he could help with. Who cleans a room and knows it smells and has food and mold in the appliance?!?

This is a fairly new property. We spent 6 nights in early June. Great rooms. Comfortable beds. We had a suite. Nice pool and lobby area. Good breakfast. The front desk staff goes to great lengths to be helpful. Our only issue was with the housekeeping. One day there were no hand towels or bathmat. The next day, the room was not serviced at all, but there were two clean hand towels and a bathmat. Clearly housekeeping had been in the room. This was especially surprising as I spoke with what I assumed was the housekeeping supervisor in the hallway as we left for the day telling her she could have the room for servicing and she acknowledged me. The front desk person did provide clean towels. I also spoke with the property manager regarding the communication. We returned on our last full day to find the room had again not been cleaned. At this point, I took the lack of service personally. Also, we were unsuccessful in getting NETFLIX to work in out room. The staff tried resetting the TV and the hotel router to no avail. We were sitting our grandkids and this was a further disappointment. I am a Marriott Rewards Titanium member and I know this is not typical of Marriott properties. I again spoke with the property manager as we were checking out. She was again apologetic and assured me it was not personal. She ended up comping one of my nights make up for the problems we experienced. We are traveling back to the area over July 4th and are going to give it another try.

After a very long evening and some trouble with a different hotel, we thankfully came across TowneSuites. We had to book last minute, since our original hotel randomly gave our reservation away and TowneSuites was very accommodating. We were so grateful to find TowneSuites and it was well worth the hour drive from our original location. The room was very homey, with a nice kitchenette, plenty of cozy lighting, comfortable bedding and plenty of pillows. We were given a warm greeting when we arrived and were also impressed with the outdoor fire pit and seating. My family and I enjoyed a relaxing evening and plan to stop back on our next trip back to Ohio. This location is perfect for visiting family in both Youngstown and Pittsburgh. Great find.

All the rooms have kitchens and what a pleasant addition to a "normal hotel" setup. There was a full size fridge (we placed a lot in that) dishes, microwave, stove-top, full size coffee pot, silverware, pots, utensils etc. The windows actually open (amazing in a new hotel) you can even use the available gas outdoor grills (near the fire-pit.) Nice people and a nice place to stay!

Great new place walking distance from Lemieux ice arena, which is why we are here. Cold fridge, microwave, comfy beds, table and chairs, nice TV, a bathroom fan that actually works. Suggestion for more hooks in the bathroom to hang clothing or used towels. Shower is modern but odd design that allows water to bounce and splash outside the stall area on to the bathroom floor. Complimentary breakfast and lobby are very nice. Front desk people were friendly and helpful.
