Great place to unwind and enjoy a leisurely brunch. Friendly attentive staff, good value for money and convenient to Surin Beach. An impressive spread to satisfy every taste which includes a choice of wines to compliment your meal
We were there for 12 days. I already knew that Hotel from my last journey to Phuket. Nevertheless I was impressed like the first time. The location is perfect just a few minutes away of 3 awesome beaches. Surin, Bang Tao and Kamala Beach. We used a view times the hotel organised transfer to the beaches. Our Grand Deluxe Palm room was located on ground floor with a great view over the pool area. This room was so huge, clean and well equipped - we were really speachless when we entered the first time! The offered houskeeping services starting with cleaning, turn down and water bottle service were very good! I really love the breakfast buffet in Oriental Spoon. Great diversity of food and drinks, super nice waiters and supervisors and a very cosy athmosphere. The customer relation team treated us so nice when we went sick while our stay. They helped us as much as they where able! We are really thankfull for that!! The hole Resort is soo good and we can defenitly recommend it to every kind of tourist who is searching a calm luxury and well equiped hotel on Phuket. We really enjoyed every single minute we spent there and are really looking forward to come back soon!!
This hotel is great for a relaxing stay and also shuttle service to the beach clubs (We preferred Catch, there isn’t much at HQ). The hotel offers free fruit in the afternoon and has been decorated to a good standard. The negatives are that almost everything inside the rooms has a price tag, even toothbrush which is a pretty basic thing to offer at any hotel. The hot water wasn’t running for long in our room so the max you could have a hot shower for was about 3 minutes.
This place is incredible - amazing service and it was the perfect vacation. I would go back in a heartbeat and stay in one of the suites. The food onsite was excellent and the staff in the library was very helpful with research on activities. The butler service was a nice surprise and Pisit really looked after us the entire trip - from the airport, during our stay and then back to the airport.
Twin Plams, Surin was a beautiful place to stay. Staff and all amenities, rooms everything was what we had hoped. Stayed in a Deluxe palm room, however it was on the first level, would rather a ground floor room, but it still was really nice. We found the area surrounding Surin was a very quiet area and nothing really was close by. Twin Palms is really suited for couples, There a few people with children there but when the children were playing in the pool it did upset a few people, not me because the laughter of the children I found was enjoyable. The food & drinks in the restaurants associated with Twin Palms was lovely but a bit pricey. The resort I could not fault.
We stayed in duplex suite with private pool. This suite suits to all members of our family from wine refrigerator in-room, to baby's bottle sterilizer & dryer and a personal choice of own flower arrangements and scents. Besides enjoying the spacious room, we do enjoy hotel lagoon pool. The breakfast is premium quality and tasty. Hotel's staffs, everyone are very attentive and helpful. However the hotel itself has no beach access, but we can easily take the hotel's shuttle to hotel's private Beach Club by the beach which is also amazing.
Even the rain on arrival didn't dampen the beauty of this hotel... The welcome was very warm, professional and check-in was swift, which I'm always grateful for. The welcome Bellini was also fab at 9am! The huge open lobby with tasteful and minimalist approach was a great intro to the rest of the complex. Ben from customer relations looked after me while my room was being readied. Ben was attentive, friendly and put me completely at ease... so much so I fell asleep in the library after my long restless night flight from Dubai. Once my room was ready Ben informed me that I'd been upgraded to a suite, as It was my 40th birthday trip, which I am forever grateful for as this just made my welcome to Twinpalms and first trip to Thailand even more special!!! Thank you again! The suite was AMAZING, spacious, airy, clean and so luxe. It really was a home from home. The lounge area was large and fully equipped with TV and Bose bluetooth sound system, corner sofa, armchair and dining area with Bar and a desk. Bedroom was minimal and beautiful with a large outside patio stretching the width of the living area and bedroom, overlooking the gardens and fantastic tranquil pool. The bathroom was beautiful and as big as the bedroom, with large bath, shower area, dressing area, with floor to ceiling windows looking out onto a small private ornamental garden. There were a few power outages in the room during the evenings but this was dealt with very quickly and professionally. Even the 24 hour heavy rains couldn't stop the beauty of this place. The heavy but warm tropical rain didn't stop people using the beautiful pool or relaxing on their covered patios. Luckily the rains subsided to reveal Thailands best weather for weeks and I felt very lucky! Breakfast buffet was great with lots of varied choice and live egg and pancake stations, plenty of seating choices indoor and outdoor. The service was always outstanding from everyone you came across anywhere in the complex - they were just so friendly and made me feel very special. I loved it so much at Twinpalms I stayed an extra night! My suite was booked so I moved into a garden room for the one extra night which was equally as beautiful, just without the living area. I visited the TP chic sister restaurant Palm Seaside Bar and restaurant which I will review separately but the hotel has shuttle or taxi services to get there... it's about a 6 minute drive and worth it for a nice dinner in a great setting. I also visited the TP sister beach club "Catch" equally chic and also a great day-to-night venue. Shuttle also available about a 10 minute drive away. I will also review separately. I'd like to thank all of the staff at Twin palms but especially Ben, you made my stay so memorable and I wish you all the best for the future.. you have a huge career ahead of you...! Your communication style and people skills are so professional but balanced perfectly with a personable feel. The way are able to pre-empt customer needs and provide the level of service that you do did not go unnoticed so a HUGE congratulations on the good work and HUGE thank you! Every good hotel needs a Ben! Thanks again for a great stay TP! ♥️
We spent one week at Twinpalms hotel which we found amazing. The upside is definitely the catch beach club you can go to with hotel shuttle and enjoy the beach and sea with mattress and towels included in the price of the room. However, we found the staff at Oriental spoon particularly arrogant. 2 girls were very nice and the rest of the staff was disrespectful and not smiling. We felt we were not welcomed there. The chief responsible for the eggs was very kind but unable to cook an half boiled egg. First time the white was raw, whereas the second time the egg yolk was cooked. when i asked for a half boiled egg he replied " i could come back in 10 min" so I explained it should only be 3 min. Breakfast was decent in quality but not the highlight of our stay because of the staff. Food is constantly delicious at Catch beach club but cocktails like pina colada are too liquid and pricey for the quality of the drinks. Staff was friendly and helpful. I would come back but would choose an alternative option for breakfast such as the restaurant just next to Twinpalms right on your left side when you exit the hotel or any other nice restaurant outside the hotel where we feel welcomed.
Went here for Sunday brunch in September with friends cost was2000 baht about 44 pounds and worth it as a special treat for that you got free flowing vodka and port as well as a bottle of wine for two but only one bottle of water.the food was excellent starters were crab lobster oysters scallops as many as you like also there was palmaham. With vegetables and beautiful melted cheese after all of that there’s your roasted meats and vegetables then there’s the sweet station as well as the cheese board .best get there just before midday as it finishes at 3 pm so go early and enjoy guaranteed you won’t do much after ps again won’t let me give a top score
On checking in you are given a 'host', which a lot of 5 star hotels offer, but the Twinpalms hosts are actually useful unlike other hotels. She was always checking to make sure we had a good time and that all our meal plans were satisfactorily arranged. So, no complaints about the service. The pool is huge and provides plenty of space to avoid other swimmers even when there are lots of people around the pool. We stayed in the penthouse with a private pool on the third floor. Very clean and had everything we needed, but would rather it was on 2 floors as opposed to 3. Many options for places to eat and spend the day, including HQ Beach Lounge, Palms Restaurant and Bar and Catch Beach Club, all owned by Twinpalms. Shuttle bus runs regularly throughout the day to each place - on the whole fine, but was 20mins late once coming back from Palms in the evening. Good location with plenty of local restaurants nearby if you're looking for something cheap and authentic.
