Nice villa but terrible service

Pro - Clean & big rooms with all the equipment provided - Quiet location and about 35 minutes drive to Patong Beach - Villa is relatively new Con - No on site staff we got a email on the check-in date that notified us our booking had been cancelled because of a leak in the roof and suggested we go to a sister hotel on the other side of the island. We were running late to a wedding so that was not an option. We then called Expedia and they reinforced that there's absolutely no other villa available in the estate and our best option is to move in somewhere nearby, which, turned out to be false as we managed to get hold of a staff /cleaners from trichada and check us into an available villa. 15 minutes later the cleaners knocked on our door and said they gave us the wrong villa and asked us to move into another one which we were fairly disappointed with the management and we were promised to be able to have late checkout on the last day. Then the miscommunication continued the following day when we got back to the premise and saw a villa cleaner standing in front of our door steps and informed us that we had to check-out at normal time the following day...... The villa is actually very nice with with this poor level of management and lack of communication between the Villa owner and cleaners and between expedia and villa management staff, we don't think we would like to stay there for the 2nd time.
