Stayed yet again at the Beach Boutique. Has not really changed from last year but staff this year seemed friendlier, at least to me An OK hotel, well placed, not five star but I would say 3.5 stars. Rooms could use a fresh coat of paint and wifi DEFINITELY NEEDS a stronger signal in the more secluded rooms. Door locks in more secluded at the back rooms DEFINETLY NEED TO BE REPLACED to make the rooms more secure. Would be quite easy to break into some of the more secluded rooms at the back of the property. Otherwise, good value.
+ Reception was easy, location was good for beach, night market, restaurants etc Reception, toilets, dining room were clean & well presented. 2 Pools were ok not very big, (main pool closed for refurb)......... - accommodation in boutique beach house in need of some TLC, room looked shabby needed a good clean & re-paint, better available for same price elsewhere.
We Stayed in TBBH with my family of 4 (Family suites) near to beach. We assumed for the price we paid for this hotel that we were expecting some type of luxury to it, its just average. The hotel was likely more expensive due to the fact it was near kata Beach. The wifi didn't work at the time of our stay, Hotel staff were decent. Not overly friendly or accommodating but more like get the job done and do as asked and that's that. breakfast was good.. buffet style breakfast that had the basics of what you would expect for breakfast.. eggs, salad, toast station, various buns, cereals, a few thai dishe.
This was a not so pricy option - great value for money if you can walk the 400m to the beach. We had a family room, which consisted of two large rooms with a hall with bathroom in between. Since they were open it felt like an apartment. No elevator in this building, but only 3rd floor so no drama. It was situated a bit away from the main building in what looked like town houses - nice and quiet, I woke to a rooster every morning. Breakfast included, and a nice selection of snacks and meal options to buy from the restaurant next to the pool. 4 pools altogether og varying size. One of the pools went around a whole building, so that all the rooms on the ground floor would have direct access. A small spa with friendly staff, and a refreshment drink was served when we arrived. A nice option for families with children.
There are several buildings in this hotel complex, making it hard to realize that the main entrance is actually same to all the buildings. Our room had seen its best days, and the main view from window was to hotel service area (trash bins, water bottles etc). Room was very clean and staff very friendly. Air conditioning broke after first night, and it was very quickly repaired. Breakfast was tasty and good quality, although selection was bit small. Pool area was great and location is perfect, close to beach, restaurants and other facilities. Our two-room suite was perfect for 4 people. Very good hotel for the price, will definitely visit again.
We very here for the second time and we really like it. It's in the center of kata but not noisy at all. There is a good pool area fit both kids and adults. Good breakfast and just a few minutes to walk to the beach. This place is really worth the money.
Stayed here for one night before going to Phi Phi island and from the lobby outside it looks amazing, stylish and very clean but when we were shown to our room the bathroom window had been left open and there were mosquitoes in the room. The room hadn't been cleaned since the last people in it had left as there were hairs in the sink and shower and when we flipped the duvet over there were even long hairs in the bed. We were horrified!!!!! The tiles in the bathroom were dirty and the room was very basic. Loud music by the swimming pool you can't even relax in peace and quiet. The reception staff were very helpful and the breakfast was good but I wouldn't stay here again.
We stayed here 2 nights. That was enough. The hotel looks to be part of an even bigger hotel. The part we stayed in might be the more budget part. The room was small and hot. Aircon did not work properly. It took ages to get it to lower te temperature. Staff at reception a little rude, not the thai way. Breakfast buffet dissapointing. Beware if you have to check out early. Breakfast starts at 6.30 a.m. (they say). But count on it that buffet is not ready before 7 a.m.
We had two rooms with a bathroom, adjoining and also accessible off the corridor. We loved the fact we had one floor to ourselves as we were traveling with our kids. Adequate size. Various pools dotted around the complex. 15 min walk to the beach. Surrounded with bars and restaurants. Would stay here again if I'm ever in Phuket
The staff were obnoxiously rude - they could hardly be bothered to greet or speak to guests. They treat you as if you are a complete nuisance and everything is too much trouble. Rooms were not cleaned, we had to ask twice for room to be serviced and basics like toilet paper were not even provided. Rooms were searched on checkout as if guests are criminals and our taxi had to wait at our 5:30am pick up so that the staff could go through our room and then charge us for a teaspoon they claimed was missing - when they do not even provide toilet paper I cannot believe that they search to make sure that nothing has been taken. The bathroom was old and stank, and the shower door had no seal so the bathroom floor was flooded every time we used the shower. The walk to the beach takes you past the most revolting and appalling storm water drainage system that leads into the sea, filled with sewerage and other revolting contents that has a stench that is just awful. Overall this was the worst hotel stay we have ever had - I left the hotel in tears as we were treated so badly and a family holiday was ruined due to awful treatment and horrible experiences within the hotel
