Where to start? We stayed 3 nights here: 3 nights too many. The receptions met us with a surly request for passports then told us we needed to vacate the rooms by 12. No info on the restaurant location, breakfast times, pool etc but I figured this would be in the room info file. This, however, contained only 2 things-info on local shows to be booked through the hotel and mini bar prices. A kettle was provided but no tea or coffee. We had intermittent WiFi in the room. The towels were unravelling and bleach stained (see photo). When I say towels, I mean the one towel we were each provided with. The bathroom had mould around the bath and tiles ([see photo) The bedroom walls were paper thin, we didn’t sleep until 3ish when the local music, traffic and room neighbours finally fell silent. A woman with her child let herself into our room one afternoon with a key, reception seemed to think this was the housekeeping manager checking whether or not the room had been cleaned in the morning. We’d never had an issue with this and she was clearly shocked to see us in the room. We didn’t really buy the receptions explanation. The pool was great, and was the only redeeming feature a decent size, depth and temperature.
The rooms are average. You do get what you pay for, however there are many better hotels in Patong that costs the same. The easy accessibility to Bangla Road is what made it worthwhile to stay here. Their restaurant/breakfast is not worth ordering as their food is pretty terrible. Their barman was excellent, drinks are definitely worth the money. Pool is well maintained. Staff were friendly.
The location is great and convenience for bangla road nightlife and nightmarkets. Behind is bangla road, opposite is banzaan night market and the jungcelon is at right hand side. The overall experience was good but the cleanliness of bed and bathroom is really have to improve.
I stayed here in November 2017,this hotel was clean, 24 hour front desk that spoke english well, the rooms were simple with card access to unlock your door not keys, very clean with air conditioning and cleaned daily while i was out with all linen replaced and fresh towels along with soap and shampoo, they supply 2 bottles of water each day free of charge. the in room safes were handy but didn't fit my 15" laptop, no kitchen in the rooms only a kettle for tea and coffee, the rooms do not have much of a view and just a small balcony which is handy for smokers, the breakfast is simple with just eggs, ham, toast and fruit and good value, it was an all you can eat breakfast for 160 THB. with the location you can walk only minutes if you didn't like the breakfast menu. The rooftop pool and bar was great and open from 8am to 8pm, the bar was not overpriced. I didn't use the mini bar in my room as that was overpriced for some things. The main foyer had a desk operating during daylight hours for hiring motorbikes as well as booking tours. and was competitively priced. I found this hotel to be perfect for what i wanted, a nice pool, clean rooms, and incredibly easy access to all of the great things to do in Patong. I would come back and stay in this hotel again. the only let down is not much of a view in the rooms, but you shouldn't expect a million dollar view in a budget priced hotel. Very happy with RCB Patong Hotel A+
I stayed in this nice, clean hotel in May 2013. 4 years later, in August 2017, I got another chance to visit Patong and I found it’s still there! And it had expanded to a new building. That’s nice ! The room rate varies from 2000-4000bht depending on the season. But they provide discount if you contact them over email. So it’s a great tip in case you are considering this hotel for your next trip to Patong. Location in very nice. Only 2mins walking distance from Jungceylon shopping mall & boxing studio. 5mins walk to Banglaroad. However the beach is a bit far away, it’s about 10-12mins walk. As it’s located near bangla road, you can hear bangla road sounds from your room if you keep your windows open. But it’s not that loud. I was able to sleep at night easily ignoring the sound. You will get what you pay for at this hotel. Nice & clean bathroom. Decent breakfast. Comfort bed. And you can rent bikes from the receiption. They have tons of bikes/scooters. :)
Was unsure about staying here after reading some reviews however I found the location was great and the rooms where clean and tidy The staff are friendly and accommodating. Great little rooftop pool on the seventh floor Would recommend for couples or singles probably not the best for a family
In this hotel you get what you pay for. It's very affordable and just in the centre of Patong, 2 min walk to Joungceylon shopping mal. There is a car park just behind the hotel. I recommend staying here if you want to party and go out at night. Due its location you won't be able to sleep early, there is a boxing stadium just next door. Housekeeping banged on my door and just walked into my locked room when I was taking a nap in the after noon. Cheap accommodation down town that's it.
3 mins to Jungceylon shopping Centre and a few minutes to the madness that is Bangla Road. Can get noisy at night, but with the balcony doors shut its OK. It has a big bed,the bath in the deluxe room is great. Plenty of hot water as well. The safe is a bonus. There is a great fruit smoothie place just outside reception, well worth a visit. Very clean, fresh towels every day. Great value for money. Friendly staff.
After researching accommodation in Patong for approximately 5hrs, came across this hotel... and booked - Reviews and pics online were extremely MISLEADING! Booked a Superior twin share for 2 nights. We were given a room on level 3. Reception was ok, not overly engaging. However the room were extremely poor and in need of a SERIOUS make over. Beds were hard and lost shape. Sat on edge of both single beds and beds warp under you! Also cigarette holes in the bedding. We were too scared to sleep under the blankets as the rooms are obviously used for unfavourable activities i.e. prostitutes - there were condom packets on the bedsides!!!!!!! Would not recommend this hotel at all!
I decided to stay here as the price is affordable, offered a large room completed with bathup. the location is close to shopping centre ( Junceylon Mall), other local shops and cafes/restaurant. the staff are friendly.
